Take It

The world is not ours, heaven is.

“And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.’”   John 20:22-24

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. ”  Jesus in Matthew 11:11-12

Take It

Jesus says:

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matt 11:29 (NIV).

“While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:26-28.

“Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:22 (NIV).

Revelation 5:7 (NIV), “Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.”

Breath of God

“And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:22).

“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth,” Psalm 33:6 (heard on K Love radio, June 26th).

Ezekial 37:9, “Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”

Lord, God, I’m amazed at Your love, goodness and power.  EVERYTHING is from You, by You, through You and for You.  Praises!
