2 Peter 1:20-21, says: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God (and women) spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
My friend Lisa prophesied over me 5 years ago, that I’d be a writer. But in my own imagination, it hasn’t worked out what I weakly thought. Moreover, all the joy, divine appointments & encouraging others I could not have guessed God would provide.
Growth, deeper into Your word, O Lord!
“I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.” (Psalm 118:5)
1 Corinthians 14:3, says, “But he that prophesies speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.”
Psalm 34:4, reads, “I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.”
“It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” (Lamentations 3:22-26)
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your answers, Your example of living, Your sacrifice and Your great love.
*When and how has God answered you?
This prophecy (as all) is for all who believe and receive it.
“What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Isaiah 6:8, “The Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
**How have you surrendered to God; how has it been a struggle or joy?
