Something New

Blood and water gushed out of Jesus’ side with the insertion of a sword (John 19:33-34).  This proved He was dead according to the movie “The Case for Christ,” because water filled the lungs (Lee Stroebel’s journey of total submission to Jesus). So when Jesus was resurrected, it was all God.

For God so loved the world, He gave…John 3:16.

Attitudes to be….Our Pastor friend on Sunday taught on “the Beatitudes” in Matthew 5:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Matthew 5:3-12 (NKJV)

Praying for new revelations for you all from our Lord Father!  3 New things I recently learned: my husband showed me the falls near the old mill, which I never knew were there and passed near them everyday on my way to work;  What blood and water meant when Jesus’ side was pierced on the cross, (I’ve wondered this for 15 years and never heard an explanation before); and that the “Beatitudes” are attitudes and not from the word “beautiful.”

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV). (It was no accident my co-worker hung a spring wreath Jan 4th!)

Doorkeeper – Psalm 84:10

“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10.

Isaiah 43:10, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

You’re in between…jobs…or homes…or friends…and the world is telling you that you must have your ducks in a row.  But God is training you so He can use you for His kingdom.  God is moving us and separating us so that that we focus on Him.  Some tell you to be practical, some are jealous of your “freedom”.  The most exciting and worthwhile time in our life is when you’re out on a limb, walking in faith and trust.  Focus on the Lord alone and have your fresh springs in Him (Psalm 87:7).  Apostle John says in 1John 3:2, “We don’t know what we will be.”  The Lord is faithful, He knows you through and through.  What He puts in you is beyond your ability – it’s “new.”  Jesus saith to him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? you follow me,” John 21:22.
