Pull ’em Out Of The Muck & Mire

“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

“He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God; many shall see it, and fear, and trust in the Lord.” declares David in Psalm 40:2-3 (KJV).

“Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.”                                      Jude 1:2 (KJV).

“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude 1:23 (KJV).

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” says Paul in 1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV).

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”                  Paul states in Colossians 3:16 (NIV).

Dear Lord Father, forgive us for standing idly by and being afraid to admonish our brothers & sisters.  Put a new sonin their mouths as You give abundant grace & mercy to us poor sinners when we repent, in Jesus’ name.

The outdoor thermometer read 40 degrees Farenheight, but it really was much colder that day.

God loves numbers & speaks through them.

Moses lived in Midian 40 years. Until God spoke to him through the burning bush, to give him the assignment.

Psalm 40:1-3 (NIV),

I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.

Go & Plant a New Bible Group

Sing a new song (Psalm 95, 95, 98, 100).

Flow the Love of Jesus where you are.  Don’t look back where you’ve been.  Have you split with a church?  Show the “proof of your Love,” 2 Cor 8:24.

Mark 9:36-37; “And He took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when He had taken him in His arms, He said unto them,  Whosoever shall receive one of such children in My name, receives Me: and whosoever shall receive Me, receives not Me, but Him that sent Me.”

Love your neighbors.  Mark 12:30-31, “And you shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

Pray for the mockers, for they mock that which they don’t understand.  Jude 1:10, “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.” Forgive them that hurt you, “For they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34.

Matt 27:29-30, “and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand. Then they knelt in front of Him and mocked Him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.  They spit on Him, and took the staff and struck Him on the head again and again.”

You’re not above your Master.  “I do a new thing,” Isaiah 43:19.  Carry yourself with Peace.  Don’t forget Jesus’ commands are for everyday, not just when circumstances are good.  Pray for your enemies, those who spitefully use you.
