“For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor 2:16). “The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: He wakens morning by morning, He wakens mine ear to hear as the learned,” Isaiah 50:4.
Ex 35:31, You give them “the spirit of God in wisdom, understanding, knowledge & in all workmanship.”
Dear Heavenly Father, please bless all of us starting new jobs this season. Give us clear minds, being ready to learn & listen, slow to speak, having good sleep & the right clothes, good remembrance and note taking. May You bless those of us who work with our hands with wisdom. Prepare our hearts to be a light in the community, attuned to Your voice, promoting the law of kindness (Prov 31:26) and the Royal law (James 2:8). Thank You for the high favor in promotions and new jobs.
2 Timothy 3:1-5, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will become lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent (without self-control), fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
In John 13:35, Jesus tells us, “By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another.” “The law of kindness is on her tongue,” in Proverbs 31:26. Forgive a man 70 times 7 times, says Jesus (Matt 18:22). “Love is patient and kind, love does not envy…doesn’t keep a record of wrongs (NIV)…, thinks no evil,” 1 Corinthians 13:4,5
Dear Lord Father, thanks for being Who You are, giving us hope in Your eternal truth.
