Veterans – We Love You

“For who will heed you in this matter? Bus as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike.

“So it was, from that day forward, he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.”                              1 Samuel 30:24-25

Heavenly Father, we lift up to You, our brothers and sisters in arms, in Jesus’ name, please remove the dark cloud of lies.  Restore their identity in You, because You’ve made them for a purpose, a hope and a future.

More Value

Jesus in Matthew 6

Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”                 Jesus in Matt 6:25-26

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”        Vs. 34

“Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”   Matt 10:31

Who are we in God?  We are His sons and daughters.  I heard God has no grandchildren.

“I’m Born Again”

he stated with his blue eyes bright. Bold move, pulled over in a traffic circle to give me a ride. Pen in his hand while steering.

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ ”                        John 3:3

“But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.'”

Isaiah 43:1

“You Are Set Free Now”

Terry Meeuwsen on the 700 Club said during a Praying for your needs video, Mar 3, 2017. “God has a word for you today, ‘You are beginning to identify with your malady, your illness…What would you have Me do for you?  Release your identity from that, grab hold of Jesus and be set free, you’re healed.'”

What are you saying about yourself? What are you believing?

“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Ps 107:20 (NKJV).

“Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.” Matt 4:24.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor;

“He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind,

“To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

“Spiritual Knowledge Is Power” from Jeanie Shepard Ministries

see this powerful reminder of who God is, who you are by a friend:  via Spiritual Knowledge Is Power

Scripture References: Matthew 3:13-17; 4:1-11

After Jesus was baptized, He was declared the Son of God by His Father. He was then led into the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, by the Holy Spirit. The devil appeared in a visible form and he spoke with an audible voice. His mission was to tempt Jesus to sin against God.

“If thou be the Son of God, command these stones to be made bread,” he said.

His intent was to plant a seed of doubt into the mind of Christ. He wanted Jesus to doubt His Divine Sonship. Jesus replied, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Though he laid his divinity aside, Jesus had not forgotten who his Father declared him to be.

Below, I have shared a few facts that I believe may enrich you strategically before the onset of every spiritual battle. Spiritual armor and weapons are what we use to defeat the enemy. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high place; (Eph. 6:12-18).

#1 – Know your identity in Christ, and know who you belong to.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light, (1 Peter 2:9 KJV).

The devil observed Jesus’ outward appearance and concluded that after 40 days and nights Jesus had to be very hungry and weak. After all, he is just a man who needed food for nourishment and strength. Jesus consistantly quoted what was already written in the Scriptures.

#2 – You must submit to God first!

Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you; (James 4:7 KJV).

Then devil took Jesus to the holy city and sat him on a pinnacle of the temple; (Matt. 4:5). He said, “If you are the Son of God throw yourself down.” The devil was tempting Jesus to jump from the highest point to see if God will command angels to catch him; (Ps. 91:11). Jesus replied, “It is written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”

The serpent used the same tactics with Eve in the Garden of Eden. He used the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to tempt her, and she took the bait. “Go ahead and eat the fruit, you won’t die, you’ll be like God,” he said, (paraphrased). So, Eve exchanged the spoken truth of God’s word for satan’s lie. Disobedience resulted in the fall of man; (Gen. 3).

#3 – God is forever faithful; all of His promises are true.
