“There’s so much life here”

the forester said, walking through the Sierra Nevada during winter; snow laced over the branches, a foot deep on the ground.

At first glance, it looks dead, but all the snow & ice melt in spring to water the trees and plants, and bring life.

A friend told me this analogy that while the tree looks dormant in winter, God is preparing and growing it as He does with us.  Hallelujah, Lord, thank You, Lord Father for all Your ways are truth and life.  Thank You for teaching us to know and trust You throughout varying circumstances, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When you are humiliated by someone, pray for them, Jesus says.  Matthew 5:44-45, says, “so you may be the children of your Father.”

They are the ones who feel two feet small.  We are all the same in God’s eyes, so that person who is criticizing you or trying to control you is missing out knowing how much the Father loves them…and you.

Even Jesus on the cross prayed for His persecuters, in Luke 23:34.

Those people or that person putting you down need to be released from their prison.  They are suffering from false beliefs or addictive behaviors.

Dear Jesus, please shine Your light in all my relationships and provide me with Your love for which to love the hurting people You’ve put in my life.
