We’re not immune from these, but we get up again. Haven’t you all heard people say: I was following You, God, obeying You, then ‘the bottom drops out’?

Separated from his family, living alone. Seeming a small disaster. What if every step to isolation was God’s plan to come in & recreate you? Saying you’ve had your way, now this is how God is going to come first…in Glory.
What? How Moses fled Egypt & was a sheep herder for years only to be Israel’s Shepherd to the Promised Land & write the 1st five books of the Bible? What of Joseph, Rachel & Jacob’s son, who spent 13 years in an Egyptian jail, until being promoted to Pharoh’s governor and save all of Israel from the coming famine.
“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10.
“Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” (Psalm 139:16). Proverbs 16:1, says, “The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.”
“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” (Luke 8:17).
Ecclesiastes 7:1, reads, “A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.” Jesus says, “today you’ll be with Me in paradise,” in Luke 23:43.
