Abounding Love

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.  And I will give her her vineyards from there, and a valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day in which she came up out of the land of Egypt.” (Hosea 2:14-15)

“Greater love has no man than this that he should die for His friends.” John 15:13

Ephesians 1:4, “He has chosen us in Him before the creation of the world.”

“You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.” John 15:16

“How excellent is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shall make them drink of the river of Your pleasures.” Psalm 36:7-8

1 John 4:16, says, “And we have known and believed the love that God has to us.  God is love; and he that dwells in loves dwells in God, and God in him.”

There’s no way to figure Him out without seeing love in the equation.

Fight Fire with Water

Likewise douse hate with love.

Proverbs 10:12, reads, “Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers all sins.”

James 5:20, “Let him know that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”

“But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

“For we all fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23).

Knowing God loves you the same as He loves me.  When Jesus tells you to love your neighbor and pray for your enemies, because we’re all loved in His eye.

“He rains on the just and the unjust” (Matthew 5:45).
