Lifted Oppression

“Your God, Whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” Daniel 6:16.

Psalm 25:15 (NKJV), “My eyes are ever toward the Lord,
For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.”

“But may all who seek you
    rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
    “The Lord is great!”

But as for me, I am poor and needy;
    may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my Deliverer;
    you are my God, do not delay.” Psalm 40:16-17 (NIV).

103:6 (NKJV), “The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

“Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.” Psalm 119:134 (KJV).

Jesus says, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you,” Matt 7:7 (NLT).

There is Freedom

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the meek; He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound” Isaiah 61:1

King Jesus,

You are on your throne, but You see us and hear us.  You dwell with us as You say You do.  You are sorrowful for all the pain we feel.  You’re with us through our pain and in our joy in this life and in eternal life.

Please comfort the hurting in Las Vegas right now.  Give strength for the emergency workers, law enforcement and the medical staffs, dear Lord.  Please provide Your peace for all the hurting and all those who lost family members and friends.  You don’t want anyone to perish, but You want all to come to You.

Where can we go and be safe?  Not even on a concert lawn?  People enjoying the freedom this country prides itself in, are killed.  It’s not fair.  Dear Lord, please help us.
