Thanks Juan Salamanca for the Pexels picture!

1 Corinthians 14:26, “How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation.  Let all things be done for edification.”

  • 1/2 Cup White Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Bulgar Wheat*
  • 1 1/2 Cups Mashed Bananas (about 2 and a half bananas)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Ounces Softened Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Coffee
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Dusting of Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, coat baking pan with oil. Mix flour, wheat and baking soda together. Separately break eggs in a bowl and dissolve salt, cream butter, and stir in oil. Combine egg mixture to flour mixture, add coffee, cinnamon and bananas, pour into pan. (*If you desire to soak the Bulgar wheat first; cover with boiling water in a separate bowl for one hour.)

Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, let partially cool before serving.

Enjoy this multi-layer flavored bread with family & friends or at least good memories and hopes of more times with family & friends.

Lentil Soup Recipe

Isaiah 40:1, “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”

  • 1 Cup Dry Lentils
  • 4 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, diced
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 3/4 Cup Diced, Canned Carrots*
  • 1 Teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt

Heat onion in oil in a soup pot over medium flame until clear, add garlic and cook 5 more minutes.  Add lentils, chicken stock, rosemary, oregano and salt, bring to a boil, immediately lower heat to simmer 50 minutes or until beans are soft. Add cooked carrots in the last 15 minutes. *If you’re using fresh carrots, add them with the onions at the beginning to soften.

Ladle into serving bowls, there’s just enough room for dipping bread.  With chicken stock made from the bones, this is so rich, it becomes a new “comfort food.”

I pray you enjoy this in good health with family and friends, in Jesus’ name.

Great Men

“Made in God’s image” Genesis 1:27

I’ve prayed that your faith be strong – Jesus in Luke 22:32

Lord God, fill the men with hope, words of life, restore men’s identity, restore families in Jesus’ name.

Great Heart – a loving father, philanthropist and famous businessman

Roma Downey said on a Harry Conick, Jr. show (Sept 2016), your husband shapes your heart.  Roma is now an underwater instructor due to her hubby, awwww sweet.  Victoria Osteen says God shapes your desires, as in Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”  She celebrates her & her husband sharing each other’s interests from the first date on…Roma states how we become more of what we are or thought of with a spouse.  Jesus says, the two become one.

Bless You, Lord, for what You create, the beautiful relationships You designed.

Two or Three are Gathered

Lumque did a ‘dad’ thing for me, took time out of his busy day to help a stranger.  When he allowed me to pray for him, he said, ‘We all need God; look at the world.”

Jesus says, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Dear Jesus, You were there that day, please repay Lumque 100 fold for the act of kindness he gave, protect & bless him and his family and bring increase.  Dear Lord, please bless all the Dads and restore families, in Your Name.
