Jesus says, “The light of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye be simple (good), your whole body shall be full of light,” Matthew 6:22.

“God is the Lord, which has showed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar,” Psalm 118:27.

Glory to You, oh Lord, for You’ve made us, show us what is good, and renew our eyes with Your light to follow after it.  Thank You for all the miracles You let us see.  We will forever by Your children in Your kingdom.

Dear Lord God!  Your viewpoint is all I want to see, by Your side is where I need to be.  You are all life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), You are the fresh breath (Genesis 2:7, John 20:22), You allow us to breathe.  You are the beginning and the end (Isaiah 44:6), though there is no end with Your life (John 3:16).  Your word says, “I’m only a vapor (Psalm 144:4), a flower.  A flower slowly fading (1Peter 1:24).

2 Peter 1:3 “According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.”

Genesis 2:7, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

John 20:22,  And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive you the Holy Ghost.”

Isaiah 44:6 “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and His Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.”

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Psalm 144:4 “Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away.”

1Peter 1:24 “For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass where, and the flower thereof falls away.”
