God’s Promises

…are yes and amen to everyone (2 Corinthians 1:20).

God cannot lie.  He is always truthful.  Even David waited to see how God’s anointing would flourish; 1 Samuel 16:12-13. He kept a good attitude for many years through greatness and defending his life from his father-in-law and others.  1 Samuel 30:6, reads, “And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”

After Saul and Jonathan died in battle, the Lord guided David to Hebron where he was anointed king of Judah, in 2 Samuel 1-4.

Dear Lord God, Your words are always true and bring life, You’re faithful to bring them to pass, I love You and trust You.

Proverbs 18:21, says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit of it.”

Recently instead of saying “I’m tired”: I started saying “I’m hired!”

instead of “weak”: “boundless in energy”

instead of “sleepless”: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord make me dwell in safety” Psalm 4:8

*Instead of mousy: now I’m mouthy

“I will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord,” Psalm 118:17
