Invisible Thread

My husband picked up my spilled sewing tin and joked, “how did I see the invisible thread?” The clear plastic thread I’d lost use for.

Witnessing to my nephew once on how God provides all the intangibles: faith, love, confidence, hope, he said unconvinced, “all I have to do is submit to Him?”

Paul tells us to walk by faith in 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Dear Lord, thread through our lives, with Your mercy, grace, love and truth. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (The Message), “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd. By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Roman 4:17 (KJV), “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

John 20:31 (NIV), “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.”

Why Jesus Christ Died

From My Utmost for His Highest, December 20th, by Oswald Chamber:

utmost.org/the-right-kind-of-help/ (excerpted below)

This really hit home based on discussions about our church.  Funny, this was originally published in 1935, and is so relevant today, too.  See John 12:32 (NIV), “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.”

Very few of us have any understanding of the reason why Jesus Christ died. If sympathy is all that human beings need, then the Cross of Christ is an absurdity and there is absolutely no need for it. What the world needs is not “a little bit of love,” but major surgery.

You must have a right-standing relationship with Him yourself, and pour your life out in helping others in His way— not in a human way that ignores God. The theme of the world’s religion today is to serve in a pleasant, non-confrontational manner.

But our only priority must be to present Jesus Christ crucified— to lift Him up all the time (see 1 Corinthians 2:2). Every belief that is not firmly rooted in the Cross of Christ will lead people astray.

We are sent by God to lift up Jesus Christ, not to give wonderfully beautiful speeches. We must be willing to examine others as deeply as God has examined us. We must also be sharply intent on sensing those Scripture passages that will drive the truth home, and then not be afraid to apply them.

Jesus’s Full Blessings

Jesus’s full blessings will supercede all your hopes and expectations.

Luke 2:34-35, “And Simeon blessed them and said unto Mary His mother, Behold, this Child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against: (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

Isaiah 9:6-7 (NKJV), “For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

“A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His teaching the islands will put their hope.”” Isaiah 42:3-4 (NIV).

John 3:16-17 (NKJV), “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

John 4:14, “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Jesus in a Manger

“And stay by my cradle

till morning comes nigh

Be near me Lord Jesus

I ask Thee to stay

close by me forever

And love me, I pray” by William J. Kirkpatrick (1895)

Luke 2:11-12 (KJV), “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep my words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” John 14:23 (KJV).

Jesus says: “I Am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20 (KJV).

Glory Bubble

Stephen full of the Holy Spirit about to being stoned to death for his faith in Jesus, says,  “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” (Acts 7:55-56).

Father, thank You for Your glorious Presence during Bible Study when we praised You, the King of hope and sang Christmas carols. Quality time with You. Bless with Your Holy, supernatural Presence all the Evangelists and Ministers putting their lives on the line for You, in Jesus’ name.

Ps 16:9, “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope.”

John 11:40 (NKJV), “Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?””

Train Your Mouth To Play The Clarinet Again

“My lips shall praise You” Psalm 63:3

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1.

Psalm 150 (KJV).

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Perfect Love

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:17-19 (NKJV).

Isaiah 14:12, ““How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!”

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” says Jesus in John 10:10.

Let us be an instrument of Your Peace God.

“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2-3 (NIV).

“I Remember You, MY Daughter”

Heard in the spirit while worshipping at church.

Have you ever been sliding by, too? with a little worship here, a little attention paid to the Lord there?  I think I’m alright with the Lord, but this showed I had been distracted.  He welcomed me back.

My first Love, I return to – Revelations 2:4.

First and extravagantly, over the top love. Nothing else will satisfy.

It was my first time in that building, but I stepped into the mindset of total & complete worship to our God.

Abide in My love,” says Jesus in John 15:9.

“I Give Life”

heard in my spirit..

All life, breath is Yours Father God.  You give freely.  You enjoy Your children.  Your word is life.

I agree with Your word, Lord and disagree with the world & flesh.  Words of faith and life, shape our tongues and the weapons into ploughshares (Isaiah 4:2).

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10.

Get Out of Jail Free

“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.” Isaiah 42:6-7 (NIV).

The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” reads Jesus in Luke 4:19 (NIV).

The truth shall set you free” says Jesus in John 8:32. “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” Jesus says in John 8:36 (NKJV).

Galatians 2:20 (KJV), ” I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

James 1:25 (NIV), “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.”
