Focus Scripture: “And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth that defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. But those things which proceed out of the mouth comes forth from the heart; and they defile the […]
A kind, wise man answered he discussed things with his wife, not fought. Saying, “if you love someone, you don’t fight, you don’t get into a lot of horse baloney.”
“Our goal is to be like Jesus,” our Pastor prayed after a couples seminar.
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets,” said Jesus in Matthew 7:12 (NIV).”
Live peaceably as much as possible, reads Roman 12:18.
Ephesians 5:25-33 (NKJV), “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” Proverbs 25:11 (KJV).
“But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” says Jesus in Matt 6:23 (NIV).
Father God, thank You for miracle baby Scott’s (5 mos old now) continuing, increased strength, O God! Prove the doctors wrong. You have Your hand on him, and You are unstoppable. Praise God.

1 Thes 5:5 (NIV), “You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.”
Eph 2:12 (NIV), “remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.”
Eph 5:2-6, “and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
“But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”
11-13, “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”
1 Peter 2:2-3 (NKJV), “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners & pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”
Philippians 4:8 (NKJV), “Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (TD Jakes quoted this verse the other day).

The Lord said this after a time of interceding for some friends.
John 19:30 (NIV), “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
God is so faithful, much more than we are. Though His days are like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day. Don’t worry, He’s got this, whatever you need or are praying for. Just trust Him, to complete it.
Take this ‘word’ for yourselves and whatever you’re believing Father God for.
We don’t hate them back because they hate us. Jesus says love your neighbor, and with His help all things are possible. A self-proclaimed witch spiked my drink as a trick. “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34).

“…not returning evil for evil, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:9
Isaiah 9:2, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”
Mark 2:16-17 (NIV), “When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw Him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked His disciples: “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
“On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.””
Luke 4:40-41 (The Message), “When the sun went down, everyone who had anyone sick with some ailment or other brought them to him. One by one he placed his hands on them and healed them. Demons left in droves, screaming, “Son of God! You’re the Son of God!” But he shut them up, refusing to let them speak because they knew too much, knew him to be the Messiah.”
Are those in your church needing Doctor Jesus?
Luke 9:54-56 (KJV), “And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt Thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.”
Derek Prince in “Take Heed That You’re Not Deceived” youtube teaching says,
In the book of Mark, 7 kinds of spirits are mentioned. MK 16:9 (KJV), “Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven devils.”
Deuteronomy 22:9, 11, “Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.”
Derek Prince asks, are we sowing mixed seeds? flesh & spirit, linen & wood, pure & manmade?
Base everything on the scriptures, beware of fantasy especially from t.v. Keep it Simple Stupid (KISS), attributed to Corrie ten Boom. Exercise your sense of discernment as in Hebrews 5:12-14:
“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
“For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
Cultivate love of the truth in 2 Thes 2:9-12:
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
“That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
Jesus says in Matt 6:9 (KJV), “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” Pastor John Bevere teaches how God is holy and He hates sin and we need to, too.
Dark & light can’t mix, says another Pastor. The scripture is clear.
Don’t compromise with the enemy, or ‘the world’ (see http://www1.cbn.com/teaching/the-consequences-of-compromise). Read James 4:4.
Gave my heart to the Lord again today: “Lord, I’m sorry for when I hurt You & abandoned You, for when I sided with the world and turned away from You and Your truth, give me a brand new life from this day forward and live in me forever.”
Smith Wigglesworth says, when you say you’re born again, you’re prophesying (John 3:5, 1 Peter 1:23).
Someone saved my life tonight.
Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:13.
Don’t appease the dragon, kick him out of your house.
Eph 6:11, “Stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Desiring God, Interview with John Piper:
“First, I think when it says “deliver us from evil,” it probably does mean “the evil one,” but it works either way because he is behind every temptation. The primary strategy of the devil is to deceive us. He is primarily a deceiver. Revelation 12:9 says, “The great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world.” John 8:44 says, “When he lies, he speaks out of his own nature.” So the strategy of the devil in bringing about temptation and evil is to deceive us, to put thoughts in your mind or feelings in your soul that are false. He lies to us about where happiness is best to be found.
“So how does Jesus ask the Father to deliver us? And we have another prayer, interestingly enough, besides the Lord’s prayer. And Jesus prays the same thing, only he expands it and answers the question. Compare John 17 to the Lord’s prayer. And here is what Jesus prays in John 17:15: “I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.” And then verse 17 says, “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” Now that should not be a surprise to us that he says to the Father, “There is an evil one out there. His primary strategy is deceit. Please, guard them from that evil one. And here is the way I think you should do it.” Like the Son could tell the Father how to do it; namely, in the truth. “Make them holy in the truth; your word is truth.””
