The Puzzle

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV).

500 Pieces may seem impossible to put together.  Your heart drops, piece by piece you connect them, all the time looking to the picture of what it’s supposed to be.

So we are to keep referring to the vision Jesus gave us, thou in the beginning it looks so far fetched, like the visions were meant for someone else. But God is always right.

Oswald Chambers speaks on visions here in July 6 My Upmost for His Highest:

Lord, forgive us for when we gave up, You give more than we could ever want or imagine.

The Lord Showed Me,

…and there were two baskets of figs…

set before the temple of the Lord, after Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah with the craftsmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten, they were so bad. Then the Lord said to me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

And I said, “Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad.”

Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans. For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

‘And as the bad figs which cannot be eaten, they are so bad’—surely thus says the Lord—‘so will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, his princes, the residue of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt. I will deliver them to trouble into all the kingdoms of the earth, for their harm, to be a reproach and a byword, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence among them, till they are consumed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.’ ”

Jeremiah 24 (NKJV)

King David says, to the pure God shows Himself pure (Psalm 18:26).

C.S. Lewis in Mere Christianity says that when we dislike qualities in others, it’s because we ourselves have those same qualities.  But we’re not even aware we have them.

My older brother used to say people are mirrors to you.  If you need to discuss something, the others can tell you an answer you didn’t see before.

2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

Ministering Angels

My Pastor’s next Bible Study will be on Billy Graham’s “Angels.”  Here’s my research:

Jesus says, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”  in Matthew 26:53.

“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him,” says David in Psalm 34:7.

“Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word,” reads Psalm 103:20.

2Kings 6:16-17 (ESV), “He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

“Who [GOD] maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire,” Psalm 104:4.

Luke 1

“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense…the angel said unto, “Fear not, Zacharias; for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.”  verses 11 and 13.

“And in the 6th month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, names Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.  And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.”  verses 26, 27 and 30.

“And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent.  And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling,”  Daniel 10:11.

“And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.”

O Father, nothing is too hard for You.  We trust You completely and fear You in Holy fear.

my friend said, when I asked, “What does God want from me?”

It’s more like, actions are good, helping others, attending church, etc.  but he wants your whole heart.

Jesus came to me in a vision and said “Follow Me.”  It was four years ago during a mission trip.  I so don’t want to miss it.  I dove into every command of His.  Love one another resonating still today.

Jesus Laughs

I just don’t have time for it.  Granted; upset at the actions of someone, and those thoughts took over, like a dark cloud.  Then, negative words regarding my friendship with someone.  The Son tried to break through.  When my cousin sent me the Hallejuia Song by Pentatonix, I said Yes!

What about all that God’s doing that is awesome?  As I drove to work the next day, I remembered, God’s on target, He’s on top of this, He means peace for me.  When people come in & out of my life, He means Peace!  His truth & life & joy pervade.  Saw a vision of Jesus laughing.
