God of Peace and Order

“Prince of Peace”

Isaiah 9:6

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 14:27

“Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end,…

“To order it and establish it with judgment and justice…”

Isaiah 9:7

This started an argument once, where my friend insisted she had these two attributes.  And it brought peace to a distraught friend who lost his address book in the sewerage mud on a mission trip.

Persecuted Christians

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:10

It’s been prophesied persecution is coming to the United States.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Revelation 12:11

“Bondage Breakers” by Neil T. Anderson is excellent if you suffered any time at all, for anything, recommended by a close friend, a treasure and daughter of the Lord.

Black and Brown Lives Matter

“And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15 (NIV)

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”  Mark 12:30-31 BibleGateway

We are brothers and sisters in Christ and are black, brown, any and all colors, tribes, nations and tongues.  Almost 20 years ago, my Pastor wanted all nations represented in his church because that’s what God wanted and what it’ll be like in heaven.

We are to lift up those who are in trouble and who need a friend

We cry at the tragedy

We stand with the indignant

We ensure our brothers, sisters, friends, children, and grandchildren live safe, free lives.

I have Come as a Light into the Darkness

Jesus says in John 12:46

Lord Jesus, we need Your light, our Savior!  What a lot of darkness we face. You knew and You’ve prepared us, You told us everything we need to know, we love You and trust You.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

John 14:2 (KJV)

Matthew 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

When We Are Overwhelmed – Anne Graham Lotz

When we are Overwhelmed…

I watched this yesterday and want to share it with you, these are the Bible verses:

Psalm 121:7-8,

“The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even forevermore.”

Psalm 46:1-2

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;”

Matthew 25:5

“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.”

Genesis 6:9, 13, 14

“…Noah walked with God. And God said to Noah, ‘The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark…'”

Matthew 28:19-20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

What If We Die?

My friend wonders, “What if I die from the virus?”

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[a]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Romans 8:35-39 (NIV) BibleGateway

“For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”                           Romans 14:8 (NKJV)

Cracked Rib

“God took one of Adam’s ribs & made woman” (Genesis 2:21-22)

“Strength to your bones” Proverb 3:7-8

“Pleasant words…sweetness…health to bones” Prov 16:24

“The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the bones.” Prov 15:30

Breath deep: take deep breaths. If it hurts, see a doctor.
