Dry Your Eyes On Me

the Lord impressed this on me when I was going through a tough time.  When all else fails; “I’ve got you. Just sit a while with Me and listen and be refreshed and I’ll heal you.  It’s all okay, you don’t have to be ashamed to cry or of any weakness.  I’ve got a plan for your life and this isn’t the end.”  Jesus seemed to say.

“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;

Save me, and I shall be saved,

For You are my praise”  Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV).

“Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.

“Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.”  Matthew 15:29-30.

“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed.  And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.” Matt 8:16.

God is Holy

Heard this in my spirit often recently.  A thought that trumps some lesser than true meanderings.

  • God is pure: “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.” Proverbs 30:5 (KJV).
  • God is truth: “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”  Psalms 119:160.
  • God is love: “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8, reveals Apostle John.
  • God is holy: “For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name.” Luke 1:49, prays Mary.

Fallen Ember Warning

My husband jumped out of the way of a rolling, burning ember when he opened the wood stove door. Are we dodging bullets so to speak or are we aligned with God’s future and will for our lives?

“For God is a consuming fire” Hebrews 12:29.

“Thou He slay me, yet I will trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before Him.” Job 13:15 (KJV).

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Isaiah 45:2 (KJV).

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11 (KJV).

Circuit Breaker Warning

The electricity flow was interrupted on 20 crock pots during the church’s soup fundraiser.  No excuse would cover the lack of Holy Spirit flow though or the omission of prayer.

Romans 1:20 (NIV):  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Matt 22:29 (KJV), “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Flat Tire Warning

We helped change a couple’s flat tire last Sunday night and were honored to pray with them, also.

Have you ever had a dream of having a puncture like I have? Signifing a draught in the Holy Spirit, a desert of sorts?

Acts 10:43-45 (KJV): “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Prophetic Act

Last Thursday at 5:25 am I heard the coffee dripping in the timed, kitchen coffee pot from the bedroom for the very first time. Though normally only the delicious smell is enough to wake me up.

My sheep hear My voicesays Jesus in John 10:27

In Jesus’ name, I declare ears are opened to hear the word of the Lord!

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Rom 10:17 (NKJV).

Look At It From Another Angle

The Lord spoke this to my spirit when my keys were lost at the beach in 2016!

Two women recovered them and I was able to go along my planned day without disruption.  But looking at things from another angle is priceless advice.  Time and time again, the words return to me and I always know that there is an answer to any problem especially in God’s word.

Ephesians 1:18 (KJV), “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”

Matthew 6:22 (The Message), “Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light.”

Are You Spiritually Fit?

My sister slipped on ice the other week.  I injured myself working.  A friend has residual pain from car accident injuries incurred last autumn.

But what’s really going on is: God wants us in tune to His voice and spiritually in shape.

My sheep hear My voiceJesus says in John 10:27.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”       1 Corinthians 2:14.

Dear Heavenly Father, we repent of our hard-heartedness and spiritual deafness.  We seek Your face, Your word O Lord.  Your ways are higher and Your word is higher.  Thank You for enclosing us in Your loving arms and cleansing us from all sin, and giving us discernment.

Zechariah 2 (NKJV)

Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. So I said, “Where are you going?”

And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him, who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ”

“Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord. “Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.”

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.

“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord. “Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.  And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem. Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!”

Song Bird

“Caring is very important to the Lord,” a friend said.

My husband fills the bird feeder regularly and today began putting some seed under the deck for the Chickadees.  Suddenly, 3 Mourning Doves came under the deck and under the feeder.  Perhaps for future mating?

Heard “Songbird” in my spirit several times that day while remembering how lovingly he does call & care for me.

Matthew 6:26 (NKJV), “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” said Jesus
