We heard a sermon where Jesus said He’s going to breathe on your prophetic word. He’ll breathe new life on it, though you began to wonder when and if it’s ever going to happen (Banning Liebscher).
The Holy Spirit is innovative, my Pastor’s wife, Martha said, He’s always doing something new. Recently I listened to a seven year old prophecy that I’m a mighty woman of God. When people called me that two years ago, I still had trouble believing it. However, when you’re doing things for the Father, like interceding where there’s no glory, you’re not noticing what you look like.
It reminds me of when Gideon in Judges 6:12, was called mighty in God, and wasn’t feelin it. “And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, ‘The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!'”
Now mostly when I hear a prophetic word, it’s a direct answer and guidance to what’s going on in my life now, not so far-fetched sounding.
The Lord spoke this to me while waiting for prayer at a service. It hadn’t occurred to me yet, because I was focusing on forgiving the other person.
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:29-32 (NKJV)
“Love your neighbor as yourself,” says Jesus, Mark 12:31
“Submitting to one another in the fear of God.” Ephesians 5:21
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV).
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV).
the Lord impressed this on me when I was going through a tough time. When all else fails; “I’ve got you. Just sit a while with Me and listen and be refreshed and I’ll heal you. It’s all okay, you don’t have to be ashamed to cry or of any weakness. I’ve got a plan for your life and this isn’t the end.” Jesus seemed to say.
“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise” Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV).
“Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.
“Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.” Matthew 15:29-30.
“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.” Matt 8:16.
The electricity flow was interrupted on 20 crock pots during the church’s soup fundraiser. No excuse would cover the lack of Holy Spirit flow though or the omission of prayer.
Romans 1:20 (NIV): For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Matt 22:29 (KJV), “Jesus answered and said unto them,Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.“
The Lord spoke this to my spirit when my keys were lost at the beach in 2016!
Two women recovered them and I was able to go along my planned day without disruption. But looking at things from another angle is priceless advice. Time and time again, the words return to me and I always know that there is an answer to any problem especially in God’s word.
Ephesians 1:18 (KJV), “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,”
Matthew 6:22 (The Message), “Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light.”
