Get Off MY Clay

“Don’t look at that, that’s MY work,” the Lord rebuked my questioning Him about a fellow congregant a few months ago. We don’t know what others have walked through. (below photo courtesy PIXEL).

Jeremiah 18:1-6 (NKJV),

“The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.

“Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!”

Galatians 6, 1-10 (NKJV),

“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.

“Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Philippians 2:1-4 (NKJV),

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”

Esther 4:14 (NIV), “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

They Are Pretenders, They Are Not Christians  — Laura Bon

Visions, Revelations and Messages In this vision the Lord took me into a Church. In that Church, I saw some of the people that write awful things and comments on social media. They were part of the congregation. These were people that openly supported and urged the killing of people that were not of the…

Hunker Down and Come To The Light

But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” says Jesus in Matt 6:23 (NIV).

Father God, thank You for miracle baby Scott’s (5 mos old now) continuing, increased strength, O God!  Prove the doctors wrong.  You have Your hand on him, and You are unstoppable. Praise God.

Colossians 1:13 (NIV), “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,”

1 Thes 5:5 (NIV), “You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.”

Eph 2:12 (NIV), “remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.”

Eph 5:2-6, “and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

“But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

11-13, “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

“Meet Me”

…the Lord said this in the Spirit about attending the other church the next day: a Sunday.

There I met the LORD God, when an announcement was made for a special speaker the following week. That day, a friend’s daughter was admitted to the Emergency Room.  She agreed to go to the conference if she was released in time.  We did all attend, the message seemed to be specifically for each one of us.

Have you ever been scattered, discombobulated, lost?  Come to Him.

Matt 11:28-29 (NIV), “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Psalm 119:176 (NIV), “I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.”

“You’ll Go Through the Fire”

In the spirit, I heard this a few weeks ago, at first it was unsettling.  When the Lord gives us a heads up, we can prepare our hearts.  Then I found these verses below:

Isaiah 43:2 (KJV), “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Psalm 66:12 (KJV), “Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.”

Rev 3:18 (NIV), “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”

1 Corinthians 3:15 (NIV), “If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved–even though only as one escaping through the flames.”

“It Is Done”

The Lord said this after a time of interceding for some friends.

John 19:30 (NIV), “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

God is so faithful, much more than we are.  Though His days are like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day.  Don’t worry, He’s got this, whatever you need or are praying for. Just trust Him, to complete it.

Take this ‘word’ for yourselves and whatever you’re believing Father God for.

First Thing

One morning on route to work I decided to speak life, to actively reach higher, look higher, speak good things.  Later I saw a newspaper heading on a lobby table: ‘Life & Death.’  “Life & Death are in the power of the tongue,” Proverbs 18:21.

  • First thing: Whoever desires to be first shall be slave of all (Mark 10:44)
  • First thing: I AM WHO I AM has sent me (Exodus 3:14)
  • First thing: He is the Savior of the world (John 4:42)
  • First thing Honor your father & mother (Ephesians 6:2)
  • First thing: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul & all your strength. And love your neighbor as yourselves (Luke 10:27).

Breaking & Breakthrough

Isaiah 10:27, “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”

Psalm 51:16-17, “For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken & contrite heart – these, O God, You will not despise.”

Psalm 147:3 (KJV), “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

Isaiah 61:1-3 (NKJV), “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives; And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

2 Samuel 5:20, “ So David went to Baal Perazim and there he defeated the Philistines. He said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies like a flood.” And so that place is called Baal Perazim.”

Dear Lord Jesus, we surrender to You in Your love and wisdom. You have our best interests at heart.  Please give salvation to our families and friends as they surrender to You, too.

“30 Minutes”

The Lord spoke those words one morning, as a friend gave me directions to the cemetery where we planned to do lawn maintenance.  Surprisingly, it had taken exactly 30 minutes to get there.  The Lord’s words aren’t always for the exact day that you hear them.

Last week, K-Love Radio told about a study noting the average person has 32 minutes of downtime per day and asking the audience how they spend their free time.  The same day, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) showed an article where a married couple uses 30 minutes a day to pray together.

Hallelujah, Lord God, open our ears, help us to quiet our thoughts and be receptive to Your words, O Lord, for all Your planting is good. Near or far, all Your words have life and purpose, help us to trust You always. In Jesus’ name.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass … Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.—Psalm 37:4,7 (see Guidepost.org: https://www.guideposts.org/faith-and-prayer/bible-resources/quiet-your-mind-with-hope-and-faith).

Christmas

Luke 1: 67-79 (NIV), “His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because He has come to his people and redeemed them.
He has raised up a horn of salvation for us
in the house of his servant David
(as He said through His holy prophets of long ago),
salvation from our enemies
and from the hand of all who hate us—
to show mercy to our ancestors
and to remember His holy covenant,
the oath He swore to our father Abraham:
to rescue us from the hand of our enemies,
and to enable us to serve Him without fear
in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High;
for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him,
to give His people the knowledge of salvation
through the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

Matthew 3:13-15 (NIV), “Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.”

Matt 5:6 (NIV), “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.

Matt 4:23-25, “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and He healed them. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.”
