The Good LORD Pardon

2 Chronicles 30:18-20 (NASB), “For a multitude of the people, even many from Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun, had not purified themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than prescribed.

“For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, ‘May the good Lord pardon everyone who prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though not according to the purification rules of the sanctuary.’

“So the LORD heard Hezekiah and healed the people.”

Psalm 86:5, 15, “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.”

“But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.”

I wouldn’t put it past You, God, to heal that heart, lame leg, family turmoil, sickness, for You are willing and able.

“And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.” Luke 5:13.

Constellations

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! who hast set Thy glory above the heavens.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained;

What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psalm 8: 1-4 (KJV)

“Truly I know it is so,
But how can a man be righteous before God?
If one wished to contend with Him,
He could not answer Him one time out of a thousand.
God is wise in heart and mighty in strength.
Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?
He removes the mountains, and they do not know
When He overturns them in His anger;
He shakes the earth out of its place,
And its pillars tremble;
He commands the sun, and it does not rise;
He seals off the stars;
He alone spreads out the heavens,
And treads on the waves of the sea;
He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades,
And the chambers of the south;
He does great things past finding out,
Yes, wonders without number.”

Job 9:1-10 (NKJV)

Father God, I fear You with godly fear, You are awesome and holy, You seek me to come repentant to You.  But You do want me to come.  We are tiny in Your sight, but You love us.  How wonderful are You, Lord!  You want me to tithe mercy, justice and truth and seek forgiveness from those I hurt.  How great are You God! Halleluia

Things of Good Report

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”        Paul’s letter to the Philippians 4:8 (NKJV).

God’s love letter to us. God has downloaded this passage daily for a season! I pray it speaks and envelopes you, too.

Psalm 98

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
Sing to the Lord with the harp,
With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.

Let the sea roar, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell in it;
Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together
before the Lord,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
With righteousness He shall judge the world,
And the peoples with equity.

God Possible!

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” The angel Gabriel assures Mary, Jesus’s mom in Luke 1:37 (KJV).

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” in Matthew 19:23 (NKJV).

“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” Mark 16:20 (NKJV).

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.

“Love never fails” 1 Corinthians 13:8.

Luke 24:

25-27, “And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.”

“Then He said to them, O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!’ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

46-47: “Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.'”

Does anyone else see these Bible verses and say what was I so worried about?

Barking Up The Wrong Tree

Are our teachers off subject?  Skirting the issue of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins?

1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV), “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by Whose stripes you were healed.”

Preach the gospel.

Preach the Word of God.

But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.  But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” says Jesus in John 4:14 (NKJV).

Don’t be overcome by evil (Romans 12:21)

You are an overcomer.

Power of Words

K-Love radio is broadcasting a teaching on the power of words and how we’ll be accountable for all our idle ones.  We also rewatched a teaching telling us to agree only with God’s written or spoken words.

Jesus says, “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” in Matthew 12:37 (NKJV).

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV).

Dear Jesus, I’m sorry for the wrong words I’ve been saying, I’m sorry for the selfish and unbelieving thoughts in my heart.  Create in me a clean heart that always hears You and speaks life to my family, neighbors, friends and enemies.  In Your Holy Name. Amen

Now That We’ve Seen Your Miracles

Now that we’ve seen Your hand on our little lives, Lord God, there’s no going back. Thank You dear Jesus, for healing my husband’s olfactory senses.  Praise God!! Physically, the nose detects danger as well as delicious foods.  Spiritually the nose stands for discernment.  Hallelujah! You Lord, are glorified!!

In John 15:22, Jesus says they have no excuse for their sin, since seeing His miraculous works.

Now that we’ve proclaimed the Lord’s truth, we stand by Him & His word.

Romans 1:

Vs. 16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Vs. 21: “because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”
