Resurrected Jesus, show Your power, You’re supernatural, Forever God, King of Peace, Giver of Shalom, You’re not a painting, statue or crucifix. We love You! You’re alive!

“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.  I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forever. Amen.  And I have the keys of Hades and of death.”

Revelation 1:17-18

24/7 God

God of numbers, power & might, wisdom and love.  You’re always there – everywhere.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”         Joshua 1:9

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ ”  Hebrews 13:5

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.”                        Psalm 139:18

Jesus prays, “And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.  For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13

Great Minds

“For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”                                                                  1 Corinthians 2:16

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”           Psalm 32:8 (NIV)

Oh Lord, let us not soften our minds with drugs & alcohol, pacified with lies.  Give us Your truth, Peace, hope, space, and timing. Don’t let us dull our minds, cowering from life, but give us brave hearts, clear thinking, strong trust in You, Lord God.

  • You are “the Way,
  • the Truth,
  • the Life!” (John 14:6)

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:

‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.’ “

Isaiah 48:17

“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.”                                                                                    Daniel 1:20

Glory Prayer

“And one cried to another and said:

‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!'”                      Isaiah 6:3

Walking past the park. The daylight, light beaming through foggy windows, baby semi-sleeping, smiling in the stroller, gentle wind from upper windows.  Man announces a beautiful day, have a great weekend.

And I know You will carry me with all the many blessings You give everyday.  This isn’t the last stop, so to speak, everything will be alright. (Deuteronomy 1:31)

God’s Eye View

Bird’s eye view:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting lift.”             John 3:16

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” John 15:13

“No one’s more important than people.”  Julia Child

Father God, help us to love others as You love them. Lord, we foolishly diminish You, turn our backs on You, put ourselves higher than You, try to ignore You. And yet, there You are, loving us, ready to forgive us because of who You are …

Lightning Bolt

“Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually,

“Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Psalm 35:27

“Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, and earthquake, and great hail.”                                                             Revelation 11:19

Dear Heavenly Father, nothing is beyond Your reach or Your eyes.  You know all that’s going to happen.  We want to learn more about You, be near You and follow You, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!

“The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.”                  Proverbs 15:33

More Jesus

“He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”     John 3:29-30

No sweat to obey You, Jesus, You’re 20 feet tall, though You make me feel 10 feet tall. Manifest Yourself to them & show Who You are!

“Ask for more of Me,” a Pastor said God told him – what if we did the same? We know John’s prayer is that we, Christ’s church, represent the bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. And we have joy simply because He is near.

A Bow In Your Hands

“…He makes His bow and makes it ready.” Psalm 7:12 (NKJV)

I am a bow in Your hands, Lord

Draw me, lest I rot

Do not overdraw me, Lord. I shall break

Overdraw me, Lord, and who cares if I break?

Nikos Kazantzakis, quoted from The Ragamuffin Gospel, Brennan Manning

Every time I read this poem it brings tears to my eyes. How many of us pledge our undying devotion to God, then get scared, and then surrender to Him all over again?

“I’m Not Stupid”

said the Spirit-filled Pastor, when he asked the reason I wanted to leave a particular ministry in church years ago. The truth? I felt unwelcomed. He was a kind, well-loved person, who you couldn’t be evasive with, he did put me in a different ministry.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” says Jesus in John 16:13 (NKJV)

When I said, “I’m not stupid,” to a church leader recently, it reminded me of when my Pastor said it to me.  You wonder if church leaders hear the Holy Spirit and how they tolerate lies.

Your truth of Your Holy word is in stark contrast to the world, dear Lord.

“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” James 3:16 (KJV)
