Making Peace

Thank you, Karol D, for the picture on Pexels.

Ephesians 2:16,

“Making peace…reconcile both to God through the Cross.”

1 Peter 3:11, “…Seek peace and pursue it.”

The other day I kept seeing baby grass visions, believing it’s relating to God’s word taking root.

40 Percent Spirit Filled – Prophetic Dream

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26 (NIV) BibleGateway

This prophetic dream last month: Someone was 40% filled with the Holy Spirit, another was 60% filled. Then someone was saying adultery was alright, then another was saying murder is alright.

You know adultery and murder are wrong and are sins against God.  I believe we need to strive to ‘enter in through the narrow gate’ and be 100% Spirit filled.

Sunday, Pastor Tony Evans asks his flock, “Are you a 40 Watt Christian, expecting to a 100 Watt blessing?”

I have Come as a Light into the Darkness

Jesus says in John 12:46

Lord Jesus, we need Your light, our Savior!  What a lot of darkness we face. You knew and You’ve prepared us, You told us everything we need to know, we love You and trust You.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

John 14:2 (KJV)

Matthew 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

I Do What My Father Tells Me

“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.”

John 12:49

“‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Matthew 19:19

My friends take such loving care of their older parents.  I wish they’d let the rest of the country how to care for their elders.
Other countries keep them at home and honor them similar to my friends in the US, and there’s no such thing as nursing homes.
Sadly, many older Americans died in nursing homes during the Covid 19 virus. There’s enough blame to go around, but is there a solution for the condition of our hearts?

Listen to your father, who gave you life,
and do not despise your mother when she is old.”

Proverb 23:22 – BibleGateway

God, I pray for Your mercy and wisdom. In Jesus’ name.

All In A Day’s Work

“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'”

Mark 9:23

“And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.”  John 6:11

“And these signs will follow those who  believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will be no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”            Mark 16:17-18

Lord Jesus, let it be now that we do “greater things” as You spoke of in Your blessed, holy name, amen.

Intrinsic Value

You are worth all the water to water your garden, because God loves you.

You are worth brand new clothes, because God is for you everyday, not just your birthday or Christmas.

A recent TBN segment; ministers’ belief that all persons have intrinsic value solely based on their worth being a creation of God.

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.”

Matthew 18:12-13

“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Luke 15:7, 10

The King Tore His Clothes

2 Kings 22:11 (NIV), “When the king [Josiah] heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his robes.”

“Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes.” Jonah 3:6

“The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a Greater than Jonah is here.”                                                                        Jesus in Matthew 12:41

“Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.”

Luke 8:43-44

This makes me think: what are we putting our trust in these days and at what expense?

Dear Jesus, You healed all and give the free manna, eternal life, You just want us to trust You.

I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

Grace And Peace Be Multiplied

Franck Denis’ photo on Pexels!

I heard in the spirit, “Grace and Peace,” like a friend talking to me and found 2 Peter 1:2.  Peter is a friend, an Apostle, friend of Jesus, eye and earwitness of Jesus’ miracles, of God’s voice, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” vs 17

2 Peter 1:2, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

Vs. 10, “Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.”

Vs. 11, “For so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Vs. 12, “For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.”

Vs. 15, “Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease”

Verse 15, reminds me of Pastor Ravi Zacharias in his last public appearance at Times Square Church, speaking of passing the baton.  What a friend, teaching to the end.

Jesus: You’re enough, You’re more than enough, if You never did another thing for us, it would be enough.  Come in Your glory!  “My grace is sufficient.”

The Jesus Movie

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Jesus in John 14:6

“You can make a difference in bringing the gospel to 5 billion people by 2025. Discover all the opportunities and how you can have a vital role in reaching a lost and hurting world.”

You just need to see this movie to feel His presence and know why this film has been shared worldwide, translated in over 1,800 languages. I watched it a few years ago and was mesmerized, just recently I read about another ministry that shows it in their mission field.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Luke 2:14

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.”

1 John 4:14
