“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.”
“‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
My friends take such loving care of their older parents. I wish they’d let the rest of the country how to care for their elders. Other countries keep them at home and honor them similar to my friends in the US, and there’s no such thing as nursing homes.
Sadly, many older Americans died in nursing homes during the Covid 19 virus. There’s enough blame to go around, but is there a solution for the condition of our hearts?
“Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.”
Proverb 23:22 – BibleGateway
God, I pray for Your mercy and wisdom. In Jesus’ name.
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'”
“And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.” John 6:11
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will be no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18
Lord Jesus, let it be now that we do “greater things” as You spoke of in Your blessed, holy name, amen.
You are worth all the water to water your garden, because God loves you.
You are worth brand new clothes, because God is for you everyday, not just your birthday or Christmas.
A recent TBN segment; ministers’ belief that all persons have intrinsic value solely based on their worth being a creation of God.
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.”
“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repentsthan over ninety-ninejust persons whoneed no repentance.
“Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
“Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.”
This makes me think: what are we putting our trust in these days and at what expense?
Dear Jesus, You healed all and give the free manna, eternal life, You just want us to trust You.
“I am the bread of life.49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.51 I am the living breadwhich came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; andthe bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
I heard in the spirit, “Grace and Peace,” like a friend talking to me and found 2 Peter 1:2. Peter is a friend, an Apostle, friend of Jesus, eye and earwitness of Jesus’ miracles, of God’s voice, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” vs 17
2 Peter 1:2, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”
Vs. 10, “Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.”
Vs. 11, “For so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Vs. 12, “For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.”
Vs. 15, “Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease”
Verse 15, reminds me of Pastor Ravi Zacharias in his last public appearance at Times Square Church, speaking of passing the baton. What a friend, teaching to the end.
Jesus: You’re enough, You’re more than enough, if You never did another thing for us, it would be enough. Come in Your glory!“My grace is sufficient.”
“You can make a difference in bringing the gospel to 5 billion people by 2025. Discover all the opportunities and how you can have a vital role in reaching a lost and hurting world.”
You just need to see this movie to feel His presence and know why this film has been shared worldwide, translated in over 1,800 languages. I watched it a few years ago and was mesmerized, just recently I read about another ministry that shows it in their mission field.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.”
