Heard this in my spirit on a mountain hike 2 weeks ago where the air is thin, and from a sister on a prayer teleconference a week later.
Six years ago in a prophetic dream with my grandson, older in the dream, with me on a platform lookout. We looked out together and he said, “we’ve never been this high before.”
Lord, You’re taking us to new heights in the Spirit. Pastor John Arnott told us in January that You, God, are doing all new things. May we never take You for granted, but expectantly hope in You and Your truth. In Jesus’ name.
Mark 9:2-3, “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.”
“O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory.” Psalm 98:1 (KJV)
As we sang this song, God spoke through a prophet:
You have to believe it!
Stand on it!
Act like it!
You’re My representatives. The enemy can be defeated if you stand on it.
Praise God, thank You Father for giving us hope and strength. Yes, our faith waivers, but we are strong and mighty in faith knowing that You Who promised good works is faithful to complete them (Eph 2:10, Phil 1:6). In Jesus’ Name.
Romans 1:16 (NKJV), “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
Luke 10:19, “Behold,I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Thank you Samer Daboul for the awesome picture!
1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV), “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
“Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.” Matt 26:64
“Reset” He told a friend, take a few days and unplug, listen to Him. Waiting on the Lord isn’t passive, it’s believing and trusting with all your heart. Leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Standing against the enemy with your shield of faith (Eph 6), refusing to back down from your belief in Jesus.
Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV), “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Psalm 25:3, “Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.”
Psalm 27:14, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
Matthew 24:36, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels ofheaven, but My Father only.”
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
“Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.
“Until not you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” Jesus in John 16:22-24 (NKJV)
Sometimes I laugh, and sometimes I only realize I have joy as an afterthought. To me, joy is a by-product of trusting and resting in the Lord. Though chasing it doesn’t seem to work, lol.
Psalm 30: 5, 11-12:
“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”
Psalm 16:11, “In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Choosing a nightlight in a store; picking up one, then another from a bin. An older woman came over to help me.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matt 5:14 (NKJV).
“And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:5
“Arise, shine; for your Light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1-2
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:11.
Thank You, Daddy God, for this special dream! I count on You all the day long, everyday. You love us and make us feel special. We don’t call You, but You called us to Your throne room.
“Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy. For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” Psalm 33:3-5 (NKJV).
“But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Jesus teaches in Luke 12:31-32.
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” Revelation 4:11.
Dear Lord, we love You beyond words. “I woke up today,” that’s enough reason to dwell with You, thank You, glorify You, and see Your work in everything around us.
***Thanks all you readers and writers! You’re in my prayers as well, thanks for all the likes!
You have compassion, like the cotton in a pill bottle, it keeps the pills from being harmed.
People want more of that.
Jesus washing the disciples’ feet (John 13:3-17)
God’s servants (Matt 20:25-28)
Compassion (Matt 18:27, 33)
Shortness of time (Matt 25:13, Revelation 22:12)
Praise God, above is part of a prophecy given to me last month. I can stay focused on God and His word, look for ways to serve others and communicate God’s love to them. People want Jesus not us, but we who’ve been with Him, reflect His compassion.
More than the nutrition label, the actual ingredients matter. People may get more out of eating whole foods and less preservatives and salt.
Same with our hearts’ character.
