All The Lonely People

You’re My friends, if you do whatever I command you (John 15:14)

I think I met the loneliest person in the world: in need of deliverance, 10 years wandering, friendless, if he/she would only surrender to the One Friend, Jesus. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and go see a psychiatrist, also.

“He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will—” Ephesians 1:5 (NIV)

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42

We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng.” Psalm 55:14

Let Jesus In

…the Pastor preached.

“Behold, I send My messenger,

and He will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight.

Behold, He is coming, says the Lord of hosts.”

Malachi 3:1

Oswald Chambers, My Utmost, August 9th:

“Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost,” the “Bethlehem” of the Son of God.

Stand Up For Jesus

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Jesus in John 3:16

Jesus Christ the only son of God, Praise You, Lord Jesus for all You’ve done for us, who are Your children, Your friends.  “It is finished,” You said.  Forever & ever Your work is complete, and You are seated on the throne in Heaven next to the Father.  Amen.

We are hurting for You, Lord, when people use Your name in vain and ignore who You are.

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then bowing his head, he gave up his spirit.” John 19:30 (KJV)

Jesus Prays

“Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.’”  Luke 11:1

“[Jesus] Saying, ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”                                            Luke 22:42

“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  Matthew 9:38

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”   John 17:20-21

“Wait for the Song”

Heard in my spirit at a new church.  The songs one after another entered my heart and comforted me, I wept.  Sometimes as though He was singing to me.

“The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

God is speaking with you, also.

Don’t Lose Heart

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” Jesus says in John 14:1

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” David writes in Psalm 27:13-14

“Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

Be Angry

…and do not sin”

Paul says in Ephesians 4:26

“Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?” Paul again in 2 Corinthians 11:29 (NKJV)

“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” Jesus in John 7:24

“Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

“And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.” Jesus in Matt 21:12-13

“Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them.” Proverbs 28:4

This is for my friend, Keri, who had fingers pointed at her because she was indignant at wrong doing.  Have you too been blamed from unbelievers who tried to provoke you?

Read The Ingredients

More than the nutrition label, the actual ingredients matter.  People may get more out of eating whole foods and less preservatives and salt.

Same with our hearts’ character.

“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Jesus says in Matthew 7:18-20 (NKJV)

“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” Jesus in John 7:24.

“But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed those who are gorgeously appareled and live in luxury are in kings’ courts.  But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet,

“This is he of whom it is written: ‘Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You.’

“For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” Luke 7:25-28

“Seek ME and You’ll Find ME”

Do you ever ask, ‘Where are You, LORD?,’ as I’ve done? Above, and in scripture, is His answer. God is the answer, He sees you and loves you. He’ll show you the truth.

Psalm 27:8 (NKJV), “When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, LORD, I will seek.'”

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV), “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

Deuteronomy 4:29, “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:7, 11 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
