The Sick Need a Doctor

Mark 2:16-17 (NIV), “When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw Him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked His disciples: “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
“On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.””

Luke 4:40-41 (The Message), “When the sun went down, everyone who had anyone sick with some ailment or other brought them to him. One by one he placed his hands on them and healed them. Demons left in droves, screaming, “Son of God! You’re the Son of God!” But he shut them up, refusing to let them speak because they knew too much, knew him to be the Messiah.”

Luke 1: 67-79 (NIV), “His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
    because He has come to his people and redeemed them.
He has raised up a horn of salvation for us
    in the house of his servant David
(as He said through His holy prophets of long ago),
salvation from our enemies
    and from the hand of all who hate us—
to show mercy to our ancestors
    and to remember His holy covenant,
the oath He swore to our father Abraham:
to rescue us from the hand of our enemies,
    and to enable us to serve Him without fear
in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High;
    for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him,
to give His people the knowledge of salvation
    through the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy of our God,
    by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
    and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

Matthew 3:13-15 (NIV), “Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.”

Matt 5:6 (NIV), “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.

Matt 4:23-25, “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and He healed them. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.”

“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both.” Proverbs 20:12 (ESV).

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.” Isaiah 35:5-6 (NKJV).

“But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV).

Come and drink from the river of life

Jesus in John 7:37-38 (NASB), “Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'”

“Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.” Revelations 22:1-2 (NIV).

The power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).  (See Desiring God, by Jon Bloom:

Scripture says, “choose this day whom you’ll serve,” in Joshua 24:15, Dear Lord, help us to choose You and speak life everytime we open our mouths, in Jesus’ Name.

In debt

and a love slave because of Your love to me, I see what You’ve done and I gladly pour out all of my time, money, friends, belongings, privacy, agenda because You keep loving me, forgiving my mistakes, overlooking my sins and problems.  You cherish me.  When he invited me to attend the conference free of charge when I was new there.  When they forgave my problem and said with a gentle smile something like ‘when you’re working for the Lord, you’re a target for the devil.’ (Exodus 21:5), when they carried me because I needed help.

“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them,” Deut 33:27.

A Better Future

May your disappointments turn into Divine meetings as you build treasures in heaven, working for God’s kingdom.  “It will not be taken away,” says Jesus in Luke 10:42.

Psalm 20:1-5 (NKJV)

“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion;
May He remember all your offerings,
And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose.
We will rejoice in your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.”

“While we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.  For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”  2 Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV). “For we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 6:12 (NJKV).

“I give you authority,” says Jesus in Luke 10:19.

You were dead and now you’re alive, says Jesus in the prodigal son parable in Luke 15:24.

The title was written to me from a friend and I rejoice at Jesus’ resurrection Power in beginning again, new wonders, mounting up with wings like eagles, running and not being tired (Isaiah 40:31), in Jesus’s Name, amen.

More Fours (again)

Mark 4:40, “But He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful?  How is it that you have no faith?'”

Her daughter’s 4 children, all lost, taken away.

Four years since my certification was completed.

Lord God, restore us and our lives to Your wonderful created order (Prayer of healing from John Paul Jackson).  May every step we take in the direction of Your truth and righteousness.  May we walk in Your Spirit, light, truth, honor, purity, and love.

You Shall Live, by Reinard Bonnke, Evangelist

Bible-Poem by Reinhard Bonnke – June 24, 2018

God spoke “‘I saw you in your blood, and said ‘You shall live!’”
I just could move my lips as much as my consent to give.
The Holy Spirit came on me; and Jesus saved me mightily.
Hell let me go, Christ took me in; I now run this race for a crown to win.
Ezekiel 16,6
My wasted life and arrogance, I threw it into Jesus’ hands.
I had enough of sin, of binding chains and fears within.
As life oozed out I couldn’t pray, but He did say “You shall live anyway!”
Christ wouldn’t give me up despite my provocation, but shed His blood for my salvation.
Hosea 11,8
When I sank I needed more than therapy; I needed rescue and recovery.
Then Jesus came, but not to calm me down, for I already was about to drown.
His nail-pierced hands reached through the storm, wrapping around my torso.
Christ looked at me with love and said, “Because I live, you shall live also.”

John 14,19

Hard Hearted

Lord Father, I’m sorry for being hard hearted, that’s why I detect it in others.  They are judging others based on worldly standards.  I’m glad I’m softer now (Ezekial 36:26).  That’s what You want, for us to be aware of Your desire in every situation.  And to see them as You do, love them, admonish them if needed.  Treat them with kindness.

Ezekial 36:26 (NIV) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
