Psalm 98

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
For He has done marvelous things;
His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
The Lord has made known His salvation;
His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
Sing to the Lord with the harp,
With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.

Let the sea roar, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell in it;
Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together
before the Lord,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
With righteousness He shall judge the world,
And the peoples with equity.

Promotion

For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
And exalts another.” Psalm 75:6-7 (NKJV).

Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

“Exalt her and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.” Proverbs 4:7-8.

Power in The Blood

“There’s power in the blood of Jesus,” a friend at church mentioned this song when her brother’s health was failing.  Knowing how many people he brought to Jesus, she said though he may die prematurely, he served the Lord.

 1 Peter 1:18-19 (KJV), “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:”

Resurrection Sunday Sacrifice

“Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from trouble.” Proverbs 21:23 (NKJV).

What are you sacrificing this season until Resurrection Sunday? I’d like to sacrificing being right!  We don’t celebrate lent per se but want to be in fellowship with the Lord Jesus for His suffering for us.

Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, ‘Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit. Having  said this, He breathed His last.” Luke 23:44-46 (NKJV).

Higher Calling

“That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6

Do you know those who are focused, good-natured, unphased by circumstances?  Marching to the beat of their own drum?

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” 1 Corinthians 9:16 (KJV).

Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life“. says Jesus in John 12:25.

If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciples.

“And whoever does no bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple,” Jesus in Luke 14:26-27 (NKJV).

Challenge to Worship the Father

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Jesus says in John 4:24 (NKJV).

Dated January 2012, Carol’s testimony and challenge to Worship

I first visited Catch the Fire in Virginia Beach, Virginia February 2012, where God healed me of arthritis.  This testimony was recorded shortly before the conference.  A new start a new level in God’s presence!

Wake Up Call

James 1:1-3 (NIV), “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

Jesus says, Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.” Matthew 23:23 (NKJV).

Psalm 51:4, says, “Against You only have I sinned”

Verse 6, “You desire truth in the inward parts.”

James 1:11 (NIV), “For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.”

Psalm 119:71 (NKJV), “It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.

O Lord?  May we never be ashamed, but come to You with our hearts wide open, turning away from our sin and knowing Your love.

God Possible!

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” The angel Gabriel assures Mary, Jesus’s mom in Luke 1:37 (KJV).

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” in Matthew 19:23 (NKJV).

“And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” Mark 16:20 (NKJV).

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.

“Love never fails” 1 Corinthians 13:8.

Luke 24:

25-27, “And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.”

“Then He said to them, O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!’ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

46-47: “Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.'”

Does anyone else see these Bible verses and say what was I so worried about?
