“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.” Psalm 119:67 (KJV)
A friend said he was glad he had been sick because he learned so much about healthy eating and eating according to one’s bloodtype. It’s great to feel some power and sense of achievement in gaining strength, overcoming an illness. Also, when God helps us. And there’s that proverbial silver lining you can find in any cloud.
Oswald Chambers, “My Utmost” August 20th: “It’s the sick person who really knows what health is.”
“For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward my people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them.” Isaiah 61:8 (NLT)
So many need justice. A stolen phone was returned. Friends’ Unemployment, Disability cases. Suffering emotional and physical abuse. False accusations from so-called Christian leaders.
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Jesus says in Matt 5:6 (KJV)
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices–mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law–justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” Matthew 23:23 (NLT)
“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26 (KJV)
I highly recommend the Healing Rooms wherever you live. Cal Pierce taught Healing Room Training that I was blessed to attend. I’ve also been to several Healing Rooms over the years. The churches allow Healing Rooms to use their space, but have no authority over them. It’s God Who heals the mind, body and soul, not religion or church building.
“Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8
“Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.” Isaiah 41:11
Praise You Father God! You always have our backs. Thank You that even when liars are at the door, You’ll make our paths straight who follow and obey You.
“Ask and it will be given to you,” says Jesus in Matthew 7:7
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Dear Lord Jesus, we won’t hold You back from performing what You say. Anything’s possible with You, Lord.
I’ve been prophesied over where God says, “you’re not thinking big enough, you’re not asking enough.”
“And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.” Genesis 22:8 (KJV)
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Jesus says in Matthew 7:7
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?” Jer 32:27
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
One fell out of my pants pocket when taking a shower, I had to laugh. God is so amazing. Finding pennies every day for a few days now. Reminds me of when my friend Karen & I’d walk; and any money we found would go in our Baby Bottle Ministry for church (for unwed moms). Once a $20, bill lay on the ground in the park!
God is faithful and all powerful, He called you out to serve Him, He’s going to provide for you. Keep the faith, He will open doors no one can shut (Rev. 3:8). Hallelujia!
