And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise thechastening of theLord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6 Forwhom theLordloves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” (Prov 3:11-12)
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”
“The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.” John the Baptist about Him, John 3:29 (NIV)
My soul kept crying out this way to Jesus a few months ago. Is He not our Bridegroom afterall?
“Whoso seeketh her early shall have no great travail: for he shall find her sitting at his doors.” Song 6:14 (KJV)
“These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:7 (NIV)
Recent Aglow meeting, Holy Spirit said the current crisis is “opening, preparation for revival”
This has been prophecied to me and others over the years that you are in training for end times. Our faith is being tested, hold onto what’s true and lasting. When things are being shaken, we are stable, calm, trusting in God, not circumstances. Jesus wins!
