Materialism Is A Trap

And He said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”

Luke 12:15

I guess the answer is to accept abundance, knowing and giving thanks to God, who provides beyond all we ever need or imagine.  It’s a learning curve, to look at people without judging them by their clothes and stature.

  1. it is the consequences of a potential social interaction that dictates one’s looking behaviour. By placing participants in a situation where the social consequences of interacting are congruent with social norms (sharing a meal), we find an increased preference for participants to look at each other.people who were particularly interactive also looked more at the other person than people who did not interact.
