“Watch the Weight”

A friend would whisper this at our work’s salad bar, it’s easy to go beyond a pound with all those delicious salad creations.

“Here is what I have seen:

It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.”                 Solomon teaches in Ecclesiastes 5:18

After coming off the Daniel Fast several years ago, I clung to whole foods without a lot of preservatives and healthy fats: olive oil, nuts, fish, cheese, milk, yogurt, meats, fruits and dried dates. Whenever I remove sugar from my diet, other foods seem to taste a lot better.  Always check with your nutritionist when making a change.
