“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV)
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,” Paul exhorts in Ephesians 4:1.
My son, Dan, reminds me that our time is Christ’s and we were bought with a price and that we’re buried with Him (Colossians 3:3, 1 Corinthians 6:20, Colossians 2:12.
He’s (my son) always said everything is a test of our faithfulness to God. And that God dwells in the temple. You are that temple.
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me.” Jesus declares in John 6:38
1 Corinthians 3:16-17:
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
“If anyone defiles that temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”
