Leaving Facebook

“But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.” 2 Timothy 2:16 (NKJV).

After we decided to delete our fb accounts, this verse showed up.  Suddenly now, there are no more thoughts about it; how someone’s going to react to a picture or life event we might post. Our ‘friends’ already have our phone number & email.

Ahhhh, peace and quiet, like in my head.  Relief, we are the only ones in our house.  There’s no more stalking ads from google. We will, however, talk with our neighbors more and our family and friends; we will see people more and not be buried in a phone.
