The Sword

And take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;” Ephesians 6:17.

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the  knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…”  2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NKJV).

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. ” writes Paul (again) in Hebrew 4:12 (NIV).

We can be heroes for Christ, sticking up for Him. Be partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).  He has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.  Amen. (Revelation 1:6).

  1. Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any recommendations for newbie blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
