Does the preaching you’re hearing match the Word of the Bible? My son told me about a Pastor who admonished everyone to question this several years ago.
Jesus says in Matt 4:4, “But He answered and said, ‘It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'”

Revelation 22:18-19 (KJV), “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;” Ephesians 6:17.
“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NKJV).
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. ” writes Paul (again) in Hebrew 4:12 (NIV).
We can be heroes for Christ, sticking up for Him. Be partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). He has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:6).
“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd. For You will save the humble people, But will bring down haughty looks.”

8:6-7, “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.”
Verse 14, “Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.”

John says in 1John 4:6-7 (NIV):
“We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.”
Know Me: Father God says in Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NKJV),“Thus says the Lord:
“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
Thank You Father God, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit for being faithful and true. Praise God!
