Politics and Jesus

Jesus ate with sinners, we all fall in that category, He said, “I come for the sick” (Mark 2:13-17).

Vs. 17, “When Jesus heard it, He saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Romans 3:22-23, “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

If you and I disagree, there’s not arguing, I’m not offended, I pray you come to learn of Father God.  Why the Jews had to die during the holocaust, why the political leaders are in power – I don’t know, why all the tragedy happened in my life, why babies have to die, why my oldest friend had to die, my cousin – Why?

“Our Lord’s confidence in God, and in what God’s grace could do for anyone, was so perfect that He never despaired, never giving up hope for any person.  If our trust is placed in human beings we shall end in despairing of everyone.”  Oswald Chambers, “My Utmost for His Highest” July 30th.

WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS, “When a man’s heart is right with God the mysterious utterances of the Bible are spirit and life to him. Spiritual truth is discernible only to a pure heart, not to a keen intellect. It is not a question of profundity of intellect, but of purity of heart.” Bringing Sons Unto Glory, 231 L   (https://utmost.org/classic/a-bond-slave-of-jesus-classic/)

“With the pure Thou wilt shew Thyself pure; and with the froward Thou wilt shew thyself froward,” Psalm 18:26.
