washing the kitchen floor with rags, on our hands & knees, was fun on a Saturday night, not teenage chores.
A friend moved my mountain this week. A friend is a Divine Gift that can uplift you and change your perspective. Like teamwork on a mission trip, it’s not work, it’s fellowship.
“I call you friends,” said Jesus (Jn 15:15.)
“A friend loves at all times,” Proverbs 17:17.
His soul was knit to David (1 Samuel 18:1).
“Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV).
Jesus, You’re our Best Friend, thank You for putting others in our lives to be Your hands and feet. You make me smile.
