Ministering Angels

My Pastor’s next Bible Study will be on Billy Graham’s “Angels.”  Here’s my research:

Jesus says, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”  in Matthew 26:53.

“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him,” says David in Psalm 34:7.

“Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word,” reads Psalm 103:20.

2Kings 6:16-17 (ESV), “He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

“Who [GOD] maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire,” Psalm 104:4.

Luke 1

“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense…the angel said unto, “Fear not, Zacharias; for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.”  verses 11 and 13.

“And in the 6th month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, names Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.  And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.”  verses 26, 27 and 30.

“And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent.  And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling,”  Daniel 10:11.

“And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.”

O Father, nothing is too hard for You.  We trust You completely and fear You in Holy fear.
