In debt

and a love slave because of Your love to me, I see what You’ve done and I gladly pour out all of my time, money, friends, belongings, privacy, agenda because You keep loving me, forgiving my mistakes, overlooking my sins and problems.  You cherish me.  When he invited me to attend the conference free of charge when I was new there.  When they forgave my problem and said with a gentle smile something like ‘when you’re working for the Lord, you’re a target for the devil.’ (Exodus 21:5), when they carried me because I needed help.

“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them,” Deut 33:27.

“To live is Christ,” Phil 1:21.

Christmas in July

Jesus speaks:

“go in all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,”  Mark 16:15 (NKJV),

John 12:47, “And if any man hear My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.”

Mark 11:22, “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”

Matthew 5:10, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

“Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;” Luke 12:35.

The cup is clean inside

Jesus says the inside is what matters (Matthew 23:25-28).  God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7), don’t judge by circumstances or judge by material things.

In the same way, when all else fails and circumstances are beyond your control, do what Jesus says and pray for those who curse and use you, love your enemies and neighbors (Matthew 5:43-45).

An older gentleman said with a smile that he is alright alive or dead when he’s gone, he’ll hug his grandson in heaven who died of a drug overdose.  He’ll greet all those loved ones who went before him.  Can we smile, too?

It’s the Little Things

The little things that God does means so much.  And it’s the little things we do for Him He notices; as remembering & performing your promises to Him.

It’s everytime you tell somebody about the Lord, everytime you remember Him, remember His word, hold your tongue when you believe you’re right, when you do something you don’t want to do for another without complaining, and when you clear your calendar for time alone with Him, hanging with God, the Father & Jesus.  When you make up with that friend, or be nice to someone who’s not your favorite.

Be a love-slave to God (Oswald Chambers).

Heavenly Father, I pray for all to know You in that secret way You answer unspoken prayer, and they’ll know that they know only You has done this and loves them with an eternal love.  We read Your word and have been witnessed to, only it was a secret thing You did that made You real to us.

Joy & Faith

“The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!”  David says in Psalm 21:1.

“Your gentleness had made me great,” Psalm 18:35.

Romans 5:1-2 (NLT), “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”

Romans 15:13 (NKJV), “ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus in John 15:11, “ These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”

Loving Father, we’ve all heard many sermons on Faith & Joy being inseparable. The truth is all gifts of Your Holy Spirit are forever linked to You our Father – night and day.

Delivered to death…

…for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”  2 Corinthians 4:11

Jesus said in Matthew 5:12, “Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

“Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours also.” John 15:20.

1 Peter 2:20-21, “But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.”

2 Corinthians 4:6, “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

Father! Please bless those Pastors who are in prison and ministers being persecuted.  Please give them Your Spirit and speak to them so they don’t feel alone, and speak through them to all around.  They are Your children, and You’re so happy with them.  Great is their reward.  We are all called to witness Jesus, but we don’t.  Take care of their families, Dear God.

A Friend Taught Me

washing the kitchen floor with rags, on our hands & knees, was fun on a Saturday night, not teenage chores.

A friend moved my mountain this week.  A friend is a Divine Gift that can uplift you and change your perspective.  Like teamwork on a mission trip, it’s not work, it’s fellowship.

“I call you friends,” said Jesus (Jn 15:15.)

“A friend loves at all times,” Proverbs 17:17.

His soul was knit to David (1 Samuel 18:1).

“Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.”  Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV).

Jesus, You’re our Best Friend, thank You for putting others in our lives to be Your hands and feet.  You make me smile.

A Better Future

May your disappointments turn into Divine meetings as you build treasures in heaven, working for God’s kingdom.  “It will not be taken away,” says Jesus in Luke 10:42.

Psalm 20:1-5 (NKJV)

“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble;
May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
May He send you help from the sanctuary,
And strengthen you out of Zion;
May He remember all your offerings,
And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose.
We will rejoice in your salvation,
And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.”

“While we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.  For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”  2 Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV). “For we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 6:12 (NJKV).

“I give you authority,” says Jesus in Luke 10:19.

You were dead and now you’re alive, says Jesus in the prodigal son parable in Luke 15:24.

The title was written to me from a friend and I rejoice at Jesus’ resurrection Power in beginning again, new wonders, mounting up with wings like eagles, running and not being tired (Isaiah 40:31), in Jesus’s Name, amen.

Give It Away

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV).  Jesus says, “when you give, don’t let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.” Matthew 6:4.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10.

Pastor teaches that we’re blessed by God in order to give to others.

The Pastor and a friend each lent their copies of Billy Graham’s “Angels” away, so he needs another from which to teach the Bible study.  I was taught to give away a Bible when the Holy Spirit gives the opportunity, and keep one or two on hand for those Divine Appointments.

“Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.  For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 14:1-2 (NIV).

“Worship is giving God the best that He has given you…God will never allow you to keep a spiritual blessing completely for yourself. It must be given back to Him so that He can make it a blessing to others.”  Oswald Chambers: My Utmost for His Highest, January 6.  https://utmost.org/worship/

Father, a lesson I cried over when the gift was taken from me.  But You let me see Your heart in that disappointment.

Four Fullness

“# 4 Is the plan of God”, the speaker said at the November 4, conference.  On the drive home, an out of state’s license plate read 44.  Around this time God showed me 44 many other times: was given #44, locker at work, the digital clock, Psalm 144, and the age of a movie character.

I know My plans for you, of peace and hope (Jeremiah 29:11 – NIV).  “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:17 (NASB).

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace,” 1 Corinthians 14:33.  “Let all things be done decently and in order,” vs. 40.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way,” Psalm 37:23.

1 Peter (NKJV)

2:12, “having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”

vs. 15, “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.”

vs. 17, “Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.”

vs. 20-21, “For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.  For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:”

“Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;  not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:8-9 (NKJV).
