1 Samuel 30, “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”
“And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day,” 1 Samuel 10:9.
“He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak,” Isaiah 40:29 “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint,” Isaiah 40:31.
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me,” 2 Corinthians 12:9.
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord,” Psalm 27:14.
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth,” John 4:24.
Great song! For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son; (John 3:16). We are to be like Christ.
