Someone said Daniel worshiped the God of Israel three times a day out of duty (Daniel 6:10). I say he was desperate for God’s Presence, hallelujia, couldn’t live with out Him, lonely for Him. Needed Him every hour, even three times a day wasn’t enough.
Jesus said, “you can do nothing without Me,” in John 15:5.
Jesus spent all the night praying to God, says Luke 6:12.
Psalm 63:1-2, “O God, You art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh longs for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is To see Your power and Your glory, so as I have seen Thee in the sanctuary.”
Jesus says in John 14:28 (NIV), “You heard Me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.”
