In Your Presence

“As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after Thee,” Psalm 42:1-2

“My soul longs even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart & my flesh cry out for the living God,”  Psalm 84:2

David says in Psalm 51, “Take not Your Holy Spirit from me.”

Ex 33:15, “Moses said, If Your Presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us up from here.”

Someone said Daniel worshiped the God of Israel three times a day out of duty (Daniel 6:10).  I say he was desperate for God’s Presence, hallelujia, couldn’t live with out Him, lonely for Him.  Needed Him every hour, even three times a day wasn’t enough.

Jesus said, “you can do nothing without Me,” in John 15:5.

Jesus spent all the night praying to God, says Luke 6:12.

Psalm 63:1-2, “O God, You art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh longs for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is To see Your power and Your glory, so as I have seen Thee in the sanctuary.”

Jesus says in John 14:28 (NIV), “You heard Me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.”
