Ex 31:1-3, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship…”
1 Kings 3:7-9, “And now, O Lord my God, you hast made Your servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people which You have chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this Your so great a people?”
vs. 10-12, “And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because you hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for yourself long life; neither hast asked riches for yourself, nor hast asked the life of yours enemies; but hast asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to your words: lo, I have given you a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like you before you, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.”
vs. 27-28, “Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof. And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.”
Isaiah 11:2-4, “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”
John 16: 12-15, Jesus says, “I have much more to tell you but you cannot bear it now. Yet when that One I have spoken to you about comes—the Spirit of truth—He will guide you into everything that is true. For He will not be speaking of His own accord but exactly as He hears, and He will inform you about what is to come. He will bring glory to Me for He will draw on My truth and reveal it to you. Whatever the Father possesses is also Mine; that’s why I tell you that He will draw on My truth and will show it to you.”
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,” 1 Peter 5:6-7. “For the LORD gives wisdom: out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you,” Proverbs 2:6. O Father God, we repent for trying to one up You and getting rich in wisdom and knowledge by side-stepping You (and Your Word), the Author and Creator of ourselves & everything! Psalm 100:3, “Know you that the Lord He is God: it’s He that’s made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.” “He hath made every thing beautiful in His time: also He has set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.”I know that, whatsoever God does, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God does it, that men should fear before him,” Ecclesiastes 3:11,14.
