She prays to be debt free, to spend more time with her family, to not always be striving for something.  For this young widow to have a simple life.

God will honor that prayer.

Jesus says, in Matthew 6:22, “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.”  Some Bible versions use healthy, good, clear, sincere, sound and perfect for the word single.

He won’t withhold anything good from you.  Psalm 84:11, says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”

Jesus says, in Matthew 7:7 (NIV), “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

And, John 14:13 (Good News Translation), “And I will do whatever you ask for in My name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son.”

And Psalm 37:4, (Good news Translation) reads, “Seek your happiness in the LORD, and He will give you your heart’s desire.”
