God’s Not for Sale

Everything good is for free: salvation, cleanness, confidence, joy, love, patience.  However, you can’t buy Him or His gifts.  When we surrender to Him, all He has is ours.

Oswald Chambers, My Utmost, December 1: “Whenever God’s will is in the ascendant, all compulsion is gone. When we choose deliberately to obey Him, then He will tax the remotest star and the last grain of sand to assist us.”

The cattle on a thousand hills are Mine, says the Lord, Psalm 50:10.

John 14:13, “And whatsoever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

Mark 11:24 (NIV), “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” Phil 4:19.

This is the Stronghold

This is the plumline, you can’t trust other people or other teachers?  Measure everything by the Word.  The Bible has to remain intact.  This is the truth.  My cup is overflowing, my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Reading 1John this morning about Your Love and Power.  Thank You Father, I love You.

Psalm 18:2 (NKJV), “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

I Woke Up

…at 5:55 this morning, O Lord, and You were there, the sunrise giving a warm, orangey, golden glow, this is the day You’ve made, bless You Lord, my Love, this is Your day, Father, Jesus.

Psalm 118, “this is the day, the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.”           Genesis 1:1, ”

John 17:5, “And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world began.”

Genesis, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”                                  Psalm 146:6, (NIV) “He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them-He remains faithful forever.”

Psalm 24:1, (NIV), “the earth is the Lords, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.”

Isaiah 45:18, “For this is what the Lord says—He who created the heavens, He is God;
He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited—He says: “I am the Lordand there is no other.”

The Answer is “THE LORD” to Every Question

It’s difficult to speak with people who don’t know the Lord because they just don’t understand (yet) that He is Father, He is abundant and everything has to do with Him.  He is the cause of the rain.  When they ask what I hope to get out of something or why I choose something, it’s because I hear the Lord & I want to obey HimI trust Him even if no one understands it, they just don’t hear what He says to us individually.

He’s doing a new work in me & it’s going to turn out beautiful and true.  What’s behind the obvious and the material, ask, “What does God think?”.  Like Corrie ten Book, “What would You have me do in this situation?” (or think in this situation?)

Yesterday, I felt Him prompt me to stop at the deli before work in the morning.  I did and saw a woman that I sit next to at Sunday school!  We joyfully greeted each other.  A few weeks ago, it was such an encouragement for someone to relay how the Lord is leading them to make a big decision and to retire.  I enjoy to listen to Your Voice O my God and Savior!

Luke 20:38, “For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto Him.”  Luke 21:18-19,But there shall not an hair of your head perish.  In your patience possess you your souls.”                                                                                                              John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”                John 14:14-15, “If you shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.  If you love Me, keep My commandments.                                                                                                     John 15:5, “I am the Vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.                           John 15:11, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”                                                                                            John 15:15, “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of My Father I have made known unto you.”                                                                                                  Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”                                                                                                                         Mark 4:11, “And He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables.”

1 John 4:4, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Psalm 16:11, “You wilt shew me the path of life: in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 23:5-6, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

Psalm 36: 7-8, “How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.  They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.”

Psalm 139:14-15, “I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Your works; and that my soul knows right well.  My substance was not hid from You, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”

Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also He hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.”

 Jeremiah 29:10-11, “For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Jesus Laughs

I just don’t have time for it.  Granted; upset at the actions of someone, and those thoughts took over, like a dark cloud.  Then, negative words regarding my friendship with someone.  The Son tried to break through.  When my cousin sent me the Hallejuia Song by Pentatonix, I said Yes!

What about all that God’s doing that is awesome?  As I drove to work the next day, I remembered, God’s on target, He’s on top of this, He means peace for me.  When people come in & out of my life, He means Peace!  His truth & life & joy pervade.  Saw a vision of Jesus laughing.

Couldn’t get Clean…

inside.  A thought weighed on me in the shower.  A weight.  Does that ever happen to you?  Comes from nothing you did, nowhere.  The next day was communion – Easter, I sat in the pew awaiting the cleansing flow.  No eye contact.  This is My body given for you.  This is My blood poured out for the forgiveness of sins.

The need for Him to make me new new, clean.  My only hope.  I’m a sitting duck.  I couldn’t look at anybody when taking the elements.

Two weeks in a row the word “clean” came up.  A differentiation of what’s highly prized & what isn’t.

Psalm 19:9, “the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever.”

Ps 51, “wash me with hysop,”

Wash me with the truth.  John 17.

She couldn’t think straight when the dr. told her she needed surgery.

Take over Father, she’s Your little flower, she’s Your handiwork, You’re not done with her yet.  Increase her faith in You.  Her life is an open book and her heart is in Your Hands, O Lord.  Who are we to argue with You & Your word?

Proverbs 23:7, “As a man thinks in his heart, so he is”

Luke 6:45, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

“You are my strength and my song” Psalm 118:4; “Wait on the Lord, and He shall strengthen Your heart, Wait, I say, on the Lord”  Psalm 27:14.

Jeremiah 17:14, “O Lord, if You heal me, I will be truly healed.”

Psalm 30:2,(NIV) “Lord my God, I called to You for help, and You healed me.”

She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed. Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.”

The Table

A beautiful example of regeneration when the little table was rejected then retaken when the broken makeshift leaf was removed.  One commented, “I could use some regeneration.”

When I said, ‘please help me, I’ve done everything humanly possible and it’s not changing anything, it’s not helping.  I need You.’ I surrendered to You because I was done, and You’ve brought me on a journey.  You hold my hand.
