…for growth. Lol. Surprise, when I complained about my co-workers, it’s actually me that – at times am: competitive, insecure, fearful, needy for accolades, trying to get noticed for doing good. No wonder it gets to me seeing others’ strife. Read C.S. Lewis on this in “Mere Christianity.”
Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him,” I hope there’s room for change and improvement.
Jesus says, “Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye” Luke 6:42 (NASB).
Dear Lord Father, You also gave me compassion for the one who squashed my new ideas saying, “we never do it that way,” when she said she lost something, then it was found in plain sight by someone else.
Father, Father, Father, thank You for being our boss, for controlling things, for providing another outlook in which to see circumstance. You are our Father and You are abundant.
