After all You’ve done and been for us Lord Jesus, You don’t need to do another thing. Yet You’re seated on Your throne & still talk to us and intercede for us. Halleluia! You covered our lives start to finish, birth to death & everafter, more than we can comprehend.
This was our prayer several years ago; that we’re in debt to You & amazed by You, at Your lavish, generous love. And the more I dwell on You, the more overcome I am. Thank You, O God.
“From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.” Jeremiah 30:19 (NIV)
“Few celebrations point so directly to hope for the marred human condition than Easter, when Christians gather to mark God’s forgiveness of sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In turn, Christians are commanded to forgive others. … “I can forgive because God has forgiven me.” Apr 20, 2014, The Daily Breeze
Jesus is God though He became man to wash away our sins & give us a brand new eternal life (John 13:1-7).
My Bible study friend says Jesus lowered Himself to us and we as Christians are no better than anyone else.
Twice recently I read that Christians is Greek for ‘little Christs’, Ann Voskamp in “The Broken Way” and listening to Keith Green. That’s tough to do; turning the other cheek, praying for enemies, be kind and gentle (Matt 5:39).
We love You Lord and glorify You. Teach us your way, teach us to pray instead of reacting.
Anointed movie: “I Can Only Imagine,” of the transformation of lives by Jesus, Thank You God!
First believe, then you’ll see manifestations says Jesus (John 11:40).
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength,” says Jesus in Mark 12:30 (NIV).
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7
I believe, dear Lord, help my unbelief (Mark 9:24)
Some teachers say, you must believe first in what God can do, then you’ll see it happen. Hebrews 11:1-3 (The Message): “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd. By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.”
Awake… and asked God for some encouragement as I clicked on fb, not really believing I’d find it…

He’s awake – He’s there, He never sleeps and the darkness & light are alike to Him (Psm 121:4 and 139:12).
Ruth Graham Lotz says sometimes the middle of the night is the only time He can get your attention. So sing, pray, glorify Him in your secret place. Proclaim the Word aloud, “Our Father Who are in heaven,” “The Lord is my Shepherd.”
A season of waking at 3 am many years ago. It was prophesied over me that “the Lord is brooding over you,” so ask Him, “Lord, what would You have me do in this situation?”
Jesus says, be wise as serpents and gentle as doves in Matthew 10:16. Galations 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Should our faith walk be tempered by who we’re talking to? Should we be wise according to our surroundings to save our skin? our Pastor asks us.
The little girl, hesitant to play in the snow up to her knees. Then her mom shovels a path for her to play in. Then shovels another path in the shape of a big circle. The child becomes fearless and flourishes playing & running in the path when her mom took away her fear.
Lord, Jesus, make me an instrument of Your Spirit and speak through me whenever You want. Amen.
…for growth. Lol. Surprise, when I complained about my co-workers, it’s actually me that – at times am: competitive, insecure, fearful, needy for accolades, trying to get noticed for doing good. No wonder it gets to me seeing others’ strife. Read C.S. Lewis on this in “Mere Christianity.”
Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him,” I hope there’s room for change and improvement.
Jesus says, “Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye” Luke 6:42 (NASB).
Dear Lord Father, You also gave me compassion for the one who squashed my new ideas saying, “we never do it that way,” when she said she lost something, then it was found in plain sight by someone else.
Father, Father, Father, thank You for being our boss, for controlling things, for providing another outlook in which to see circumstance. You are our Father and You are abundant.
Gather you under My wings. ” ….I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!” Luke 13:34.
Do unto others as you would have them do to you says Jesus, Luke 6:31.
You’re My friends, John 15:15.

1 Peter 1:8-9, “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
God’s wisdom & power is immeasurable (Romans 11:33). With what measure you use on others, you yourself will be measured, says Jesus in Matt 7:2.
One said everything a person does can be measured; judged by what’s visible or what they hear. Doesn’t God judge by the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7? Which we can’t see? “Blessed are you who believe though don’t see,” says Jesus in John 20:29.
Father, I’m glad You love me beyond my performance or value according to what others see. Thank You for cherishing me.
You loved your neighbor?
You prayed for your ex-spouse? Your enemy?
You follow Jesus & don’t look back
You believe every word He says & don’t second guess through your trials?
I will give you eternal life, fullness of joy, 100 fold of everything you gave up (Mark 10:30).
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV).
“These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11.
