Let Go

…and Trust Him.

The Pastor asked me if I thought the plant I donated wasn’t being taking care of properly.  But at his caring word, I was convicted of holding on too tight.  Out of fear?  Of course, it was fine and had grown fuller.

Every morning I would come down and check on the plant, open the blinds and note any growth or added greenness, make sure to water it once a week and made sure it had direct sunlight.

Into God Almighty’s hands and the church’s I put this plant.  When the Holy Spirit shows you something in His private, uncondemning & loving way, you can let go & laugh at yourself.  And He can be your All in All.

“And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him, that God may be All in All.” 1 Cor 15:28.

Time’s Getting Short

“And John answered & said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in Your name; and we forbade him, because he follows not with us.  And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not; for he that is not against us is for us.”  Luke 9:49-50.

Amen, “live peaceably with all men,” Romans 12:18. Don’t waste time arguing about semantics.  If someone doesn’t believe what you do, don’t judge them.  The Spirit of truth is God with us, don’t disappoint Him with your pride trying to one up someone in a spiritual argument.

Jesus says, “Watch!”  Watch yourself too!

Dear Lord, please open the eyes of their understanding.pexels-photo-220570.jpeg

Go & Plant a New Bible Group

Sing a new song (Psalm 95, 95, 98, 100).

Flow the Love of Jesus where you are.  Don’t look back where you’ve been.  Have you split with a church?  Show the “proof of your Love,” 2 Cor 8:24.

Mark 9:36-37; “And He took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when He had taken him in His arms, He said unto them,  Whosoever shall receive one of such children in My name, receives Me: and whosoever shall receive Me, receives not Me, but Him that sent Me.”

Love your neighbors.  Mark 12:30-31, “And you shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

Pray for the mockers, for they mock that which they don’t understand.  Jude 1:10, “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.” Forgive them that hurt you, “For they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34.

Matt 27:29-30, “and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand. Then they knelt in front of Him and mocked Him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.  They spit on Him, and took the staff and struck Him on the head again and again.”

You’re not above your Master.  “I do a new thing,” Isaiah 43:19.  Carry yourself with Peace.  Don’t forget Jesus’ commands are for everyday, not just when circumstances are good.  Pray for your enemies, those who spitefully use you.

I Follow Jesus

I told her when she said she collects crosses.  She said, me too, that’s why God’s watching.”

And Jesus said, “Follow Me” in Mark 2:14.

“Fear not; from henceforth you shall catch me.” Luke 5:10.

Mt 19:21, “Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

Dear Lord Jesus, You’re worth everything we go through for You.

Stretch Forth your Hand

Acts 4:30, “By stretching forth Your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of Your holy Child Jesus.”

John 10:21, “In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hid these things from the wise & prudent, and have revealed them unto babes; even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.”

Mark 16:20, “And they went forth & preached everywhere, the Lord working with them & confirming the word with signs following.  Amen.”

Rich Towards God

Luke 12:21, “So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Jesus says, “Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples,” John 15:8.

1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Jer 9:23-24, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,‘ declares the Lord.”

You’re Alive!

The Word is alive, Holy Spirit is inside us who are born again of the Spirit.  Don’t hide God’s truth or dumb down the truth.  We never die.  We have everlasting life (Jn 3:16).  “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe,” 1Timothy 4:10.

John 3:3-8:  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind blows where it lists, and you hear the sound thereof, but can’t tell whence it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:15-16, “That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 6:63, “It’s the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

John 14:15-17, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.”

Florida School

Dear Lord,

I’m so glad when I attended church on Sunday that the Pastor gave a memorial & song for the Florida students & teachers who were killed in last week’s attack.  We pray for the families & friends of those passed away to bring Comfort & Peace & holy remembrance of Your Compassion & Love, and fond memories of their loved ones.

May we hold our days as precious time to do Your will while we are on earth.  And help us to share our love & knowledge of You with everyone we know so they can have Your Peace (John 14:27).
