“And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Isaiah 46:4.

Don’t label yourself, you are not: your job, your diagnosis, your belongings, what others call you or what you look like.  You are a unique, one-of-a-kind person.  “I’mmm innnn herrrreeeee” (a la lost in a cave), we are inside, intangible, we never age and never die.  “You are Spirit” Romans 8:9.  “Death is a lie”, Phillips, Craig & Dean

I rebuke in the Name of Jesus, anything said over you that’s not in agreement with the word of our Father Who made you.   You are clay and are what HE, the Great I AM says about you and what He creates you to be.

Hebrews 10:2, “Let’s consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.”

Mark 15:9-10, “But Pilate answered them, saying, Will you that I release unto you the King of the Jews?  For he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him for envy.”

Because of envy they plotted to kill Jesus.  Of course, God “makes all things beautiful in its time,” (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and good (Romans 8:28).  The cruxification was the Father’s plan for redemption for all the world.  The Pharisees played right into God’s hands.

There’s no competition.  When someone envies you because of your faith, blog, or anything, when what they see is only one side of your life, your heart, let them not resent you for it.  Let it catapult them to ask more from God, more understanding and compassion for both of you.  “Enlighten the eyes of your understanding,” Ephesians 1:18.

Ephesians 1:18, “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what [is] the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”

Yesterday, You Lord, reminded me that my circumstances are a Sign to who is following Jesus.  What I do and what others say, do we match Your word?

Things are accelerating and the Lord Jesus is Excelling !  Cling to Him.  Stuff in the natural is a bummer, we need His truth more and more as new things are thrown at us.  God is sovereign and knows everything.

My friend and I encouraged each other with the knowledge that even when things look bad, You’re still in control.  Other friends are worried about different conspiracies in the news.

Ecclesiastes 3, His timing is perfect.  Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I AM the Lord, the God of all flesh, is there anything too hard for Me?”

Dear Lord God!  Your viewpoint is all I want to see, by Your side is where I need to be.  You are all life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), You are the fresh breath (Genesis 2:7, John 20:22), You allow us to breathe.  You are the beginning and the end (Isaiah 44:6), though there is no end with Your life (John 3:16).  Your word says, “I’m only a vapor (Psalm 144:4), a flower.  A flower slowly fading (1Peter 1:24).

2 Peter 1:3 “According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.”

Genesis 2:7, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

John 20:22,  And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive you the Holy Ghost.”

Isaiah 44:6 “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and His Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.”

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Psalm 144:4 “Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away.”

1Peter 1:24 “For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass where, and the flower thereof falls away.”

The Needful Thing

“But one thing is needful: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her,” Jesus says in Luke 10:42.

John 10:28, “No one can snatch you out of His hand.”  From Romans 8:35-39, “Nothing will separate us from the love of God.”

Go to the Secret place in Matthew 6:6, and Psalm 91:1.

May we all return to a “Heart of Worship” and be in Your presence, Lord, thirty minutes daily (or thirty times thirty).  Friends, family, ministers, writers, pastors, et al.

“During this Christmas season”

By Ravi Zacharias “During this Christmas season I think often of that extraordinary verse in Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given.” Let us be sure of what is being said here. The Son is not born; the SON eternally existed and is GIVEN. The CHILD is BORN and entered our time.

He who dwells in the realm of eternity entered time. He understands our times. And so it is that eternity breaks into time to give us a glimpse of what always was and is and will be. God in that divine moment revealed Himself as He had never been revealed before, through His Son. That is what the Christmas message is all about.”

“Jesus Christ came…”

By A.W. Tozer: “Jesus Christ came not to condemn you but to save you, knowing your name, knowing all about you, knowing your weight right now, knowing your age, knowing what you do, knowing where you live, knowing what you ate for supper and what you will eat for breakfast, where you will sleep tonight, how much your clothing cost, who your parents were. He knows you individually as though there were not another person in the entire world. He died for you as certainly as if you had been the only lost one. He knows the worst about you and is the One who loves you the most.
If you are out of the fold and away from God, put your name in the words of John 3:16 and say, “Lord, it is I. I’m the cause and reason why Thou didst on earth come to die.” That kind of positive, personal faith and a personal Redeemer is what saves you. If you will just rush in there, you do not have to know all the theology and all the right words. You can say, “I am the one He came to die for.” Write it down in your heart and say, “Jesus, this is me—Thee and me,” as though there were no others. Have that kind of personalized belief in a personal Lord and Savior.”

“I came to Him…”

By Ravi Zacharias: “I came to Him because I did not know which way to turn. I remained with Him because there is no other way I wish to turn. I came to Him longing for something I did not have. I remain with Him because I have something I will not trade. I came to Him as a stranger. I remain with Him in the most intimate of friendships. I came to Him unsure about the future. I remain with Him certain about my destiny. I came amid the thunderous cries of a culture that has 330 million deities. I remain with Him knowing that truth cannot be all-inclusive.”

“Worship is a posture of life that takes as its primary purpose the understanding of what it really means to love and revere God.”

A Season

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven,”  Ecclesiastes 3:1.

You were there, needed for a time; now God’s bringing you to something new.  When my mother passed away, my best friend told me that people come in and out of our lives for different reasons.  Once had a highly sought after job situation, for that season.

Pastor Steve Furtick on TBN, December 14, 2017: “I receive the rain of Your promise…I’ll wait; I believe my seed is growing, it shall come to pass.  We believe, receive and establish it. Send the rain, O God.”

Dear Lord Jesus,

Please bless “this Couple” for revelation knowledge of all Your glorious light (1Peter 2:9), for transformation. You were always there with them and they submitted to You, but kept some of their old ways.  Please proclaim Your newness and encourage them, so that Your glory shines (Isaiah 60) through and trickles down to their children, neighbors and family.  Let their homestead be a House of Prayer (Isaiah 56:7) and undeniable change and newness from adoring You alone.  Nothing will be the same.

King Jesus, You prophesied to the family last year that You are the Spirit of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:17-18).  Shine on!  More of You, Jesus.
