*What ways do you hear the Lord?
“My sheep hear My voice,” says Jesus in John 10:27. “We are Your people and the sheep of Your pasture,” (Psalm 100:3).
Jesus says to Peter, “Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: flesh and blood has not revealed it, but My Father which is in heaven,” (Matthew 16:17).
Teachers have said that hearing His “still small Voice” is vital to your walk in the Lord (1Kings 19:12). “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals His secret unto his servants the prophets,” says Amos 3:7.
*Where is your place to meet with God?
Father, You brought me back to Your garden and showed me new and beautiful things. It’s all Your creation made to grow with Your warm sun. You told me it would be even more beautiful than where I was living, but I couldn’t imagine it.
Song 4:13-15, “Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard, and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.”
*Tell how you’ve learned courage with faith.
“What shall we say to these things? If God is for us who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
Jesus says, “For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.” (John 12:50).
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world,” says Jesus in John 16:33. “He intercedes for us,” says Romans 8:34. “Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ,” reads Philippians 1:6.
“Whoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (1John 5:4-5).
*Describe when Father God was a gentleman in your life.
Thank You Father for showing us what a *real gentleman is. You “stand at the door and knock,” says Jesus in Revelation 4. You never impose on us for Your will to be done. You ask us. Jesus, You say, “Come to Me,” in Matthew 11:28.
When we choose to believe You and choose to obey Your commands, we’re welcomed into Your family as co-heirs of the kingdom. Jesus says, “Follow Me.” You say we’re Your friends if we do what You command us to do” (John 15:14).
Your gentleness has made me great: (Psalm 18:35).
This prophecy (as all) is for all who believe and receive it.
“What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Isaiah 6:8, “The Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
**How have you surrendered to God; how has it been a struggle or joy?
*In what ways have you promoted Jesus in your life?
“The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment, and will condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, someThing greater than Jonah is here. The Queen of the South will rise up with this generation at the judgment and will condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, someThing greater than Solomon is here.” says Jesus (Matt 12:41-42 NASB version)
Jesus says in Matthew 12:3-8 (OKJ version), “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him: How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, either for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have you not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say to you, that in this place is One greater than the temple. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.”
Throughout a long-term mission trip, heard “SomeOne greater is here” in the spirit. People were going along their busy lives, some having a form of godliness, but they weren’t recognizing Him. If you’ll seek, ask and allow Jesus into your homes, workplaces, school…cars…hearts, He’ll be everything you need, forever. *Revival will come.
What are you eating?
Making lentil soup for the first time this season, I’m reminded of the people I made it for last year. One said angry, word curses to me. I ate them and spoke them back out using my own words.
In John 6:51-58 Jesus says, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, ‘How can this man give His flesh to eat?’ Then Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoso eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, dwells in me, and I in him. As the living Father has sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by Me.
This is that Bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live forever.”
“Your words were found, and I did eat them: and Your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts,” reads Jeremiah 15:16.
*Are you worshipping the Lord in a loving Church which welcomes all nations? Are you looking for such a church?
Psalm 22:25-28, reads, “My praise shall be of You in the great congregation: I’ll pay my vows before them that fear Him. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek Him: your heart shall live forever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and He is the Governor among the nations.”
“And [they] said to the woman, ‘Now we believe, not because of your saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world,’ ” says John 5:42.
Revelation 5:8-9, says, “And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.”
Dear Lord, thank You for bringing me to a church that honors You, where You are glorified and every kind of person is loved.
*Have you ever experienced disappointment, then God shined His light on the situation and changed your perception?
The Lord told me many times, “All is not lost” when a friendship ended. There were many bad things that came up during this Christian relationship. It revealed a lot of spiritual darkness, that I prayed against and asked God for His guidance. It was a failure. I thought, how could I have been involved with that darkness?
When a Pastor friend did not receive the speaking invitations he had hoped for and where he thought God had sent him, I said, “All the communications; phonecalls and emails will bear fruit, just not in the way you think.”
Romans 8:28, says, He works all things together for good. God’s word never fails (Isaiah 55:11). Love never fails (1Corinthians 13:8). If you’re moving, working out of love and belief in our Lord Jesus, He Who is above all things and knows all things, Who was and is and is to come (Rev 4:8), will make fruit grow.
He’ll make a way when there seems no way.
“Day unto day utters speech and night after night shows knowledge, there is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.” Psalm 19:2-5
Jeremiah 18:6, “ O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in mine hand, O house of Israel.”
Psalm 139:13-16, “For You have possessed my reins: You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Your works; and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hid from You, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
The WoodMaker for our Pinnochio, not that we’re liars whose nose grows when we lie, but our hearts are revealed to Him. Nothing is hidden from Him.
“The word of God is what makes everything work,” said Andrew Wommack in “Be of Good Cheer”
