Revelation in an answer…

…to gossip in your churches.

Peter links being a busybody in with being a murderer in 1 Peter 4:15

It’s hurtful and not even true (Psalm 41:6).  News of others is tempting, but is harmful to the hearer (Proverbs 18:8)

Pray for revelation, the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13), we each must hear our Lord.  This the way, walk in it (Isaiah 30:21)

Seek peace (1Peter 3:11), speak peace (Proverbs 18:21) and be at peace with God, Who judges the hearts.

We pray for a Revival of the Lord’s Presence and Power

God Owns All Time

In Your infinite wisdom and power, I trust You to hold me, o Lord.  David said in Psalm 30, “all my times are in Your hand.” In Genesis 1, You created the night and the day.

And You’re good.  You always take the high road.  Your thoughts are higher, Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55).  I trust You even though I don’t understand You fully, I want to though.

When I have a setback, it reminds me that I’m not in charge and it doesn’t bother You when I’m weak or make mistakes. You love me, it’s not based on my performance.  We begin again.  “All my springs are in You,” reads Psalm 87:7.

I Look To You, Jesus

Thank You, Lord Jesus, You give me hope.  When my confidence wavered through the night, I woke up needing You all the more.  I went straight to Your word.  A song, “My Redeemer Lives”, by Nicole C. Mullin, comes to mind.  Our time together in the morning is now joyful because You Live.

You are alive and everything Your word says that You are is true, You came to give us “life, more abundantly,” John 10:10.

You’re our Friend (John 15:14).  You’ll never leave us comfortless, (John 14:18).

When you are humiliated by someone, pray for them, Jesus says.  Matthew 5:44-45, says, “so you may be the children of your Father.”

They are the ones who feel two feet small.  We are all the same in God’s eyes, so that person who is criticizing you or trying to control you is missing out knowing how much the Father loves them…and you.

Even Jesus on the cross prayed for His persecuters, in Luke 23:34.

Those people or that person putting you down need to be released from their prison.  They are suffering from false beliefs or addictive behaviors.

Dear Jesus, please shine Your light in all my relationships and provide me with Your love for which to love the hurting people You’ve put in my life.

The first thought I had yesterday was “Rejoice”.  It’s a command, as well as an encouragement.  Don’t look at circumstances, look above.  We can do all that’s humanly possible to help our case, but God is in control and He wants us to look to Him.  God will give you great favor.  Philippians 4: 4, says, “Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, rejoice.”

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.” (Ps 89:1)

God moved through a mountain of  issues in my life yesterday starting with an answer to a problem lasting all year!
