“Keep Preaching,”

I told a man who was harassed for sharing the good news of Jesus, and another man preaching on the bus.

“My word will not return to Me void.” Isaiah 55:11

“Woe’s me, if I preach not the gospel!” Paul exclaims in 1 Corinthians 9:16

“As you go, preach, say ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'” says Jesus in Matt 10:7

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor…” prophesies Jesus in Luke 4:18

“Jesus is Your Husband”

A friend said: and the one who abused you was never your husband.

For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.”

Isaiah 54:5

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
Will bring her into the wilderness,
And speak comfort to her.”

Hosea 2:14

“Mary!”

Jesus called in John 20:16

It’s All About Jesus

I stated to someone, and continue to pray that they know Him. Jesus tore the veil, made us one with the Father.

“Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”              John 4:10

“Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split…”                               Matthew 27:51

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.”  Revelation 12:10

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:9-10

“Christ in you” Colossians 1:27

24/7 God

God of numbers, power & might, wisdom and love.  You’re always there – everywhere.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”         Joshua 1:9

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ ”  Hebrews 13:5

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.”                        Psalm 139:18

Jesus prays, “And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.  For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13

Sunset Dream

“Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” Matt 6:8

Prophetic dream about my nephew and his friends sitting on a couch in a cave facing a gorgeous sunset.  There was peace.

The sunset indicated an end of a season of interceding for him, lasting eight years, trusting God that he would be okay. (A self-declared atheist, he has recently returned to church).

Never give up hope or stop praying, God is able to save in spite of contrary circumstance; heard at church on Sunday.

“Watch the Weight”

Thanks, Guys, for all the referrals, likes and love. You’re in my prayers!

A friend would whisper this at our work’s salad bar, it’s easy to go beyond a pound with all those delicious salad creations.

“Here is what I have seen:

It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.”                 Solomon teaches in Ecclesiastes 5:18

After coming off the Daniel Fast several years ago, I clung to whole foods without a lot of preservatives and healthy fats: olive oil, nuts, fish, cheese, milk, yogurt, meats, fruits and dried dates. Whenever I remove sugar from my diet, other foods seem to taste a lot better.  Always check with your nutritionist when making a change.

Prophecy – New Beginning

A woman left an abusive husband.  She met, fell in love with and married a personal trainer.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”                                 Isaiah 43:18-19

Fulfilling the Law

“But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.'” Jesus in John 15:25

Matthew 3:14-15:

“And John tried to prevent Him, saying, ‘I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?’

“But Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.’ Then he allowed Him.”

Matthew 5:17-18:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

“For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.”

“I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God…”                                                                 Colossians 1:24-25

Great Minds

“For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”                                                                  1 Corinthians 2:16

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”           Psalm 32:8 (NIV)

Oh Lord, let us not soften our minds with drugs & alcohol, pacified with lies.  Give us Your truth, Peace, hope, space, and timing. Don’t let us dull our minds, cowering from life, but give us brave hearts, clear thinking, strong trust in You, Lord God.

  • You are “the Way,
  • the Truth,
  • the Life!” (John 14:6)

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:

‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.’ “

Isaiah 48:17

“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.”                                                                                    Daniel 1:20
